Hi Everyone! This board is for a different kind of astrology discourse: Astrology and the Law of Attraction. Transits, progressions, returns, natal configurations, composites, synastry, relationships ALL welcome topics. The common thread is the relationship between LOA and Astrology. Here are the basics: LOA defined: www.falconastrology.com/loa.htmlLOA in relationship to astrology: www.falconastrology.com/astro_loa.htmThat's the premise. Who's got a question? Example? Feel free to discuss them here with me and others Thanks! Kim

Kim - I LOVE this idea for a board! I have a question. Do you use the knowledge of an upcoming astrologic event, say a transit, to keep your ‘vibe’ in line with what you want to attract? Can you describe how you might use a transit to help you keep/get your thinking on track? If that is how you use it. Thanks!

I love this! And gonna be a nitpicking Virgo: my impression about LOA - I use it a lot, and succesfully - is that it follows feeling more than thought. I got exhausted thinking positively and for me it did not work at all... au contraire even...
My bliss counts and for me bliss means feeling and living and breathing bliss, even in the smallest things. Living from a feeling of peacefulness and fullness, and seeing and feeling any transit as a great opportunity...
Love! Juliet

Hi Juliet,
I’m totally with you on that. I think LOA brings together feeling and thought. I could never get into positive thinking – it felt phony to me. Thoughts didn’t match feelings.
For me, how I think about something effects how I feel about it. Where that differs from positive thinking is that I think of LOA as a corollary to a larger theorem. That larger theorem being: we each have individual, all powerful consciousness giving us authorship and authority over our experience here. Understanding that, allows me to use my thoughts to effect how I feel about something. In my mind, the fusion of feeling & understanding is what creates.
For me, feelings help me see what I REALLY think/believe … What you say helps me. If transits elicit feeling they can help me sort out my thinking, help me re-evaluate my thoughts/beliefs consciously and throw out the limiting thoughts. Cool!!
Thanks!!!

Hi Airedale, Juliet. Thanks for jumping right in! This is how I see the 'thoughts become things' adage. Bliss is definitely one of my favorite tools and Juliet you are so right--the little things count! I ask ' Am I in my bliss? If not, what steps can I take to move towards it?' ;D:)) Sometimes changing the way I think about a situation can help. What we put our focus on is what we are creating but 'Positive' thinking can't work if we don't have the feeling to match it. I t is the feeling that counts because the feelings animate out thoughts. When we get to the feeling state we are after, when we get into alignment with it, that's the bliss...energy flows unencumbered and we feel the power of the universe rushing through us. In that state, consciousness is free of limitations, limiting thoughts, and we can create anything imaginable. Our thoughts that can help shift us to a better feeling place. They can help us 'loosen our grip' on 'reality' enough to see a new choice, make a change--step towards the self we want to become. The key is vibrational alignment. We have to get aligned with what we want to create--feeling NOW how we imagine we would feel then. There are a lot of ways to do this, which we can explore on this board. One way is to think about how we will feel ' as if' we 'were there already.' Airedale, here is an example of how transits can help us leverage the Law of Attraction to create experiences we want. I've had Saturn through my first house since September 2007 and there are certain things about the energy vibration Saturn represents that I've tuned in to. Because I know my core values, I've been able to see which ones line up with Saturn and have focused more on them--to get the most of this vibration. Saturn coincides with hard work and focus, and one of my core values is accomplishment--so that fits nicely. My 5th house is ruled by Capricorn as well, with Mars there. (energy spent in creative pursuits) During this time, I have revised, drafted, edited and complete three 150,000 word manuscripts. You can imagine my core value 'Accomplishment' is in heaven! She is! If I hadn't been tuned into Saturn's transit through my first house and had planned to travel for a year, or perhaps become involved in a situation that did not allow me to focus my energy on my need for accomplishment and self-sufficiency--I wouldn't have been in such grand alignment with my Self (my Saturn transit) and things may not have gone quite so well. (What if I had become dependent on another for survival?) I won't list ways Saturn might get grumpy because I don't want to focus on that, but you get the idea! I always say that in relationship 'people are like permanent transits'. We can also say that 'transits are bits of ourselves, externalized for a better view!' Does that make sense? Do you have a transits coming up to discuss in terms of 'getting into alignment' in the best possible way? Let's start a thread 'Transits and LOA' ?Blessings, Kim

Be careful what you ask for!!
I have a Law of Attraction story...
I was on my work to Monday morning, bemoaning the fact that we have no more days off between now and spring break (three weeks), and wondering how I was going to stand being in that building for the next 15 school days. I got to the building (10 minutes late), gathered my purse, my laptop, my lunch box, my jar of pineapple, mango, and strawberry smoothie, and my cell phone and opened the door. I walked through the first short hall, and opened the pneumatic door to what we call the stinky hall, because it always smells the boys restroom located right there. I didn't make it through the door before it started closing on all my stuff. Here it gets fuzzy. I simultaneously jerked my belongings through the door and put my right hand behind me to push the door open a little more. Instead of hitting the door, my right index finger went into the hinge area of the door, and the door closed on my finger. I had to lean on the bar to push the door open and rescue my finger, which had been pinched on the first phalange and was developing an extremely ugly set of matching black bruises. I said, "Ohshit, ohshitohshitohshit!" and then I said it again on my way to get some ice. Long story short, I was off Monday after 11:00 (when my principal was convinced to send me to the Workman's Comp doctor), Wednesday half a day, and today and tomorrow because the physical therapy appointments are in the middle of the day. Then I am off at least one day next week and have three partial days for more physical therapy. I got my wish, but not the way I envisioned.

Pam, That's a very interesting story! Yiks! Your finger was very brave to sacrifice its well-being, temporarily, so you could have exactly what you wanted--time off!
It's amazing what the body will to for us, don't you think? Fingers and hands are Gemini ruled. What's transiting your 3rd house right now, or Mercury? Or perhaps a Mercury transit at that hour?

Hey Kim,
Well the chart was very interesting. Ascendent at 22 Pisces, conjunct Uranus, also at 22 Pisces and a far conjunction to a 12th house mercury at 12 Pisces. As a matter of fact, the 12th house is packed: With Jupiter, Juno, chiron, and Neptune in Aquarius and Mars, Mercury and Tantalus in Pisces. Tantalus is at 18 Pisces, also conjunct the ascendant. The sun is at 22 Pisces, in the first house. Mercury and Uranus oppose Saturn at 17 Virgo (conjunct my MC!). When I figure out how to post the chart, I will do so.

Hi Kim,
In the even chart of the finger smashing, all of those 12th house planets are in my 3rd house, as my natal IC is 17 Pisces. That puts Tantalous right at the IC and Uranus conjunct at 22 with a five degree orb. I find the most interesting aspect still to be the Saturn exactly conjunct my MC, and you know the career is kinda working me for points these days...
