here's my yearly deal: i've looked at all the solar stuff, and it makes sense to me - neptune/chiron squaring sun, saturn sextiling it, jupiter sextiling it, uranus trining it. SR sun in 6th- still time to get to work (my progressed moon has been in the 6th a while, and at the return hits aries still in the 6th). that uranus stands out again this year trining the sun. it's trining sun from the SR 10th, and it's making a grand trine with my natal south node, natally in the 10th. bringing through old skills? stuff i already know how to do? that's happening with more psychic work, letting astrology become a tool instead of my focus. the second question i have is about that SR pallas/ASC on natal saturn. i'm in my waxing saturn square, from virgo/12th. i've been seeing in what ways my rigid, 9th house geminian opinions keep me from getting where i want to go, and giving up a lot of them. giving up many of my ideas about how things should be and learing to go with the flow a little more. my world has opened up with new possibilities the last two weeks, and it's great. given that, what's the message with the SR ASC highlighting that saturn, and with pallas right there, too? and of course, anything else you see that you feel like sharing is welcome! thank you, tom

Hi Tom
a few quick thoughts.
With the SR ascendant highlighting your 9th house and Saturn by degree, plus Pallas there on the SR ascendant, I'd say this is about wisdom and discernment - imparting them, through your writing (Gemini) and by doing that, empowering (Pallas) others to make discerning choices for themselves.
The Sabian Symbol for the SR ascendant and Pallas (and your natal Saturn) is
"A Cafeteria with an Abundance of Choices".
There's so much chatter and clatter and well-meaning advice around, on everything from cars to holidays to healthy eating to relationships that we can lose the ability to discern for ourselves. And lose the plot on what's really important. All the advice is about outside, material "stuff", not about what's happening inside us, our barriers and behaviour patterns which determine and often limit our life choices.
So I see this particular pattern in the SR as being about using words (Gemini) and ancient wisdoms (Saturn) to empower others to make wise choices. Mercury, ruling the SR, is in Libra and Saturn, highlighted by the SR Ascendant and Pallas, is exalted in Libra.
Hope that's helpful!

thanks, jan! mercury in the return chart is at 5 scorpio, just looks like it's in libra.
this morning i realized i wasn't putting two and two together re the SR ASC/n saturn question. in the last few days, i've located two individuals who will translate my true black moon lilith report!
a therapist in portugal bought one recently, and wrote to ask to license it so she can translate it, as she wants to offer it to her clients. it seems she's been looking for a tool to help people see and heal their lilith issues, as she keeps finding lilith deep down when she works with clients. she felt my grasp of the issues unique and my approach very useful.
that put the bug in my brain. i want someone i know to translate it, if anyone. a few days later, i met at the same time two women, one who speaks spanish & majored in college in spanish linguisitics, and the other a brazilian woman, both interested in lilith.
the details are yet to be worked out but each is on board to trade translation for my various services. if that's not bringing out my natal saturn in gemini/9th, i don't know what is - my original teaching into foreign languages! and you're right, it's ancient knowledge we've forgotten as we've become afraid of nature...and our own natures.
i've also begun offering a semi-monthly meditation group at my house, all about learning to discern to make choices for yourself. it has to do with learning to identify, process and release old emotional stuff you might be carrying, and also energies that don't belong to you, and letting that go, too. i've been seeing that we all have the ability to make the right choices for ourselves but are sometimes full of this old (and other people's stuff), and so can't see through to our own wisdom. and i've also been using chiron to heal childhood issues, getting some clarity on how individuals are imprinted in infancy with the primary wound of rejection, and how to lead them now to releasing that tension to let go of the patterns of chironic wounding they still broadcast and the results of which make them persist in the pain. and i've begun doing this with clients, including an impromptu soul retrieval on a sidewalk in front of a starbuck's the other day for a woman's inner 4 year old's chiron wounding - she was guided to come to me at a group function and things just started happening. that was a really great experience.
i can't wait to see what else this will bring!
thanks for your comments!

Hi Tom, I love seeing the return charts put up--especially when you comment on the last years for reference! Thank you! I agree with Ariesmoon--Gem Asc brings Sa/Pa in the 9th to the foreground. I's say you get serious about your writing and it takes you to new horizons. That Ve/Pl in 7th feels like a legally binding contract to me--an agent or publishing co? It's potent. It takes you places. Aries on the SR 11th is where you jump into this chart, where things are initiated. New groups, new friends, new social circles, new ideals. Gemini is soooooooo social when allowed to be and as long as you feel your communications have a purpose you are going to be OUT THERE in a big way. It sounds like fun to me! Sag 7th says Be Open to new possibilities in romance as well. Do you know any Libra's or Taureans that take your fancy? It think you might meet one soon. Someone with a Venus vibe who has diplomatic qualities....introduces you to some great contacts! The Moon in 10 in Pisces is so loving the meditation group at your house already!!! It's looking grand! Kim

thanks, kim. i forgot to connect that natally i have pallas rising, with venus just above the libra horizon. i got out karl kerenyi's Athene and started re-reading it today.
how did i miss that venus-pluto in the 7th?!? is that pessimism, or what?
i just met a libra i liked immediately. our ascendants are opposed to the degree, with her sun-jupiter on her DSC and my chiron on mine. i felt immediately exposed in the way a scorpio usually cannot handle! she kept inadvertently reading my mind and asking me what it was doing, not trusting her read of it. but she was right on. and i risked answering all of her questions, which is unheard of. towards the end of that conversation, i had drifted over to and was leaning on a trash can on the sidewalk - i needed to lean on something! my chiron was totally in the light of day. i felt fourteen inches tall. i had to take my leave, i didn't know how to stay in that space in public.
i think she's a client, though. or, at least, one for the time being.
i also recently met a taurus rising/libra moon person i liked too, but i think that's for work for sure.
but i'll stay open! thanks.
