Happy Eros into Scorpio Everyone! The A/V for this transit is up on www.falconastrology.comIt is a 10 minute audio Visual Animation that talks about the 'Scorpio side' of the chart AND the Law of Attraction. Eros in Scorpio asks 'How do you go for what you want?' How do you attract your desires? It's different for everyone and when we find our natural way, things start to happen! Eros ingress into Scorpio can help us focus on the best ways and means to achieve results. It runs from October 26 to Dec 4, 2008. Listen now and post questions or comments here! We are all a bit post Mercury Rx quiet! I hope everyone is replenishing! Warm wishes, Kim

Hi Kim and thanks for a wonderful introduction to Eros in Scorpio!
I've not only been replenishing, but also re-evaluating my chart (and myself as a result!) I'm realising that I am in fact a late Taurus AC not Gemini, which puts Scorpio on the Descendant. These fixed, sensual (and stubborn!) signs on the angles suddenly make so much sense. Using Mars as the traditional ruler of Scorpio, that means Mars in Taurus now conjunct my AC, but still from the hidden 12th. So accessing and expressing passionate desire energy is still very much a challenge for me.
So, Eros into Scorpio - my 6th house, and a few degrees of my 7th - and it makes some amazing transits whilst it's there ... trine Sun in Cancer, sextile Pluto, conjunct Neptune and simultaneously square Saturn/Venus, then trine Jupiter/Chiron. And that's only the first 15 degrees, and if it's whizzing through then that's all going to happen fast!
I love what you said about honouring the Scorpio in the chart, the part where we need to be the boss (for me it's the 6th and a tiny part of the 7th). And about getting in touch with desires, not needs, by honouring those day to day rituals.
I picked up from the visual presentation the question "do others around you act your Scorpio for you" and that rang very true. I do have a tendency (thank you Aphrodite, you know why!) to invite friends and loves into my life with strong Scorpio/Mars signatures, so that they can be passionate, and express desires I've found it so tough to express.
Eros in Scorpio - "ratcheting up the desire nature" as you put it Kim - can only help with this!

Hi ariesmoon, What a profound realization to find you are late Taurus rising and not Gemini. If it feels right, it is! Having Scorpio on the 7th can mean we attract those Scorp qualities in others. It is us, our passions, our desires, but like a movie we sit back and watch them play it out. When we realize we are doing this--projecting--we can get interactive with it. Mars in Ta doesn't want to rock the boat in quite the same way as Mars in a Fire sign but the power is still there-- Sensuality, meditation, dreams journeys, vision quests, intimacy, imagination--these are areas where Mars in Ta in the 12th can take you. It's very potent, and the more you honor your Mars, in this instance, the more it frees up your 7th to attract the partner of your dreams. I'm glad you like the talk! Thank you for being the first to jump in with comments! Have you thought of ways to support your Scorpio nature in the 6th and 7th? Mine is in the 3rd and 4th and I already write in my home office! I am going to fine new ways though, to 'do' my Eros through the 3rd! More soon, Kim

Hi Kim - still on line so have just read your reply (we get an extra hour in bed tonight in the UK, our clocks go back for winter, so more time for dreaming - and writing!) Taurus AC feels right in so many ways - healthwise (thyroid problem), weightwise, and a nature that takes ages to start things, then starts them and doesn't finish them, then gets angry about it (Mars near that angle!) Plus there's a love of the scent of cooking, of flowers, of perfumes, a deep love of music and especially singing, and a fascination with textures. When I fall in love, I want to know the texture and scent of skin and hair. But I have been so fearful about that - my ruling planet now Venus, and opposed Saturn. So yes, definitely Taurus AC and Scorp on the 7th, and I definitely attract Mars/Pluto people. Hadn't realised it til very recently. Amazing how I couldn't see it before.
Digressing, sorry - such a revelation for me! Back to the forum topic!!
Eros through the 6th and 7th - in the 6th, I'm already discovering a passion for organising my belongings (sounds boring, but it's gripping me and it's making my day to day life a lot easier, as I can actually find things!!) There's an emerging passion for health too - I've neglected it for so long, watched myself get out of condition, out of shape, cared, but done nothing. That's changing. I'm going to use Eros through the 6th to rediscover a passion for cooking, not just grabbing snacks because I can't be bothered! And for loving being out in the air, just around where I live, relishing the everyday and the beauty of an English autumn.
In the 7th, I can already see that I'm going to "come out" as a passionate person - I am, very deeply and powerfully, and it's about time it showed its face! I'm going to ask Eros to help me celebrate the realisation of this part of me that has been "under wraps" for so long.

Hi Kim, loved your presentation, as always! ;D Eros in Scorpio will transit my 1st house. Natal Eros in Taurus in 7th house. Scorpio Eros will make a lot of other wonderful transits in my chart, as well. Yes, I think I know what to do with this energy! Ariesmoon: You go girl! I know it is hard to make the start. That is the hardest part. But, once you get your Taurus Mars going, it is steady and relentless. Mars will take you to that rich, full life that you so desire. Pluto will be there, and you will be ready for him. I think a new love will be in your future, too! Love and light to Everyone, Aphrodite

Aphrodite I love the idea your Eros/Scorpio through the first, very visible and powerful, and opposing natal Eros too. I know you'll make the most of that! Thank you for such loving words too, and thank you Kim for all the suggestions as to how to honour that Mars. I don't feel I can fail with this kind of support!
I've just realised Eros will oppose Mars in Taurus when it gets to 20 Scorpio. Something's just occurred to me which makes this Eros transit, and particularly the opposition from Eros to Mars, huge for me. I've known it all along, but it's all just coming together. I'm sorry if this gets a bit techie but everything's clicking so do please excuse it!
Mars at 20 Taurus 40 is the antiscia (reflection) of my North Node at 9 Leo 29 and Venus at 10 Leo 26. So whatever touches Mars, touches Venus and the North Node too, by reflection. Venus/Mars midpoint is at 0 Cancer.
The opposite point, 20 Scorpio 40, is the antiscia/reflection of my South Node at 9 Aquarius 29, and Saturn at 10 Aquarius 27. (The midpoint of that is 0 Capricorn - look out here comes Pluto!) So when Eros hits 20 Scorpio, it also touches Saturn/South Node by reflection. I wrote on another thread about discovering how many people in my life have Moons at 20/21 Scorpio, and how significant that degree seems to be for me.
It is one of the keys to opening up Mars in Taurus, and the Universe has been showing it to me for years. It's taking an Eros transit to switch the lights on! It's like a combination lock to which I didn't have the code before, and now I have it. Synchronicity - I woke up from a dream this morning, in which I was trying to open a combination lock so that I could switch the lights back on in the cellar in my house (I don't have a cellar, so I take that as being my 12th house!
The Sabian for this degree is "Obeying his Conscience, a Soldier resists Orders" which is about finding that the rules and regulations that have been set for you are inappropriate to your inner world. (Lynda Hill). Enough said!
Everyone else - what's Eros in Scorpio doing for you?

Wow! Ariesmoon! That dream is awesome and your point on why Mars at 20 Ta is so significant really resonates. Great example of how the antiscia works as reflection. Would you mind writing a brief intro to this topic "Antiscia Explained" or 'the ABC's of Antiscia'? It deserves its own thread and that would be a wonderful reference for those not yet working with this technique. (if you have time!) I'll sticky it in the General Board. Aphrodite, I'm glad you liked the talk--and Eros through the first IS totally activating the desire nature--going for what you want, without struggle or attachment. How often is it that when we let go of the struggle, forget about 'going for it' that the thing we desire falls into our laps! That's law of attraction at work! Here's to amping up desire and letting go of need, struggle and attachment to outcome! (It feels good just to say that!) Let us know how you go! xx Kim

Sure Kim, I'll give the Antiscia article a go! I've got some great book references to include too.

Hi Kim and all. I've been so busy but I just had to take a moment to share the deep research ability with Eros in Scorpio. I'm quite comfortable with looking deeply into things and this project actually began with an event that captured my heart when Eros was at 26Capricorn conjunct my Uranus in the 12th, the abduction of little Madeline McCann in Portugal last May. Eros was moving in to perfect a trine to my VOC Scorpio Moon which just happens to be where the Moon was when she was taken. A passion grew into obsession, controlled, of course, because I must see to our day to day needs, but it has remained strong, waiting for me to get back to it as I have time. My greatest desire at this point in my life is to discover an accurate way to track missing children. I've noticed they quite often go missing when Moon is void, covering their tracks so well. But, there must be a way to see and it isn't sufficient to use the ways of the ancients, just to inconsistant.
Natally, Eros lies at 8Sag with Madeline at 10Sag. When she went missing the roid was opposite my natal. Perhaps the deep desire comes from not being gifted with daughters, having been blessed with 7 sons. But, especially, it comes from the empathy for the pain any parent feels when something they gave the world selflessly is taken so selfishly away.
As Eros entered Scorpio, still in my 3rd and crossed my Hekate, the time opened up to dig deeper into my research, an article on line triggered some new ideas to add to what I've already discovered. Astrocartography is a part of my tools so the guardian of the crossroads is standing by to assist. This is the antiscia of my natal POF also, being born in the night. He will cross the daytime part too, the part of Spirit in my chart, just before conjoining Saturn.
The desire is so intense, I occasionally have to fight back the thought that I may not be allowed this knowledge of the universe, that I'm not worthy, in common Virgo fashion. But, then my come back to myself is, it isn't about me being worthy, it's about those little children being worthy, and my intent is right, for the highest good. So, I trust that it won't be a wasted effort, Eros in Sag. My South node is in Cancer in the 11th, other people's children so it likely is a left over passion from times past. Perhaps I didn't protect my child well enough, just as I have failed in this lifetime upon occasion.
Most of Eros' treck through Scorpio will be in the dark 4th house. But my Moon is waxing and can shed light, void or not. I'm excited to see what comes as I near my Eros return. Perhaps this will be a real finishing up of Eros loose ends.
As a result of Eros completing transit through Libra, I realized as he revived awareness of Sun semisquare Venus that the spine being out of alignment takes its toll on the health of the lower abdomen and libido. An injury to my lower spine (Sun) that came because of an arm injury (3rd) caused my spine to curve the opposite way that it was before. I hadn't made the connection before. So, I'm learning which movements and stretches pop things back into place to correct this curve. I've become aware that something in the left upper arm pops in order to adjust the vertebrae in the lower back. The left arm would be the 9th which is the crisis point in my natal, the center of the empty side of my bowl chart, 13 Aries. Or should it be reversed because I am female? Haven't quite figured that one out yet. Sun is separated from square Eros, 3* in my chart.
Keep up the good work. Love Connie
