Thank you Bvanzy! The holiday in Paris sounds amazing. You may find that the change of scenery, the transit and an open mind will shift you towards the revolution you're after! I find just knowing what you really want and smiling about it can make all the difference in the world! Keep us posted! Kim

Yesterday I met the director of our (company's) board and found him a very inspiring guy... Aq, politician, but the open kind, asks lots and lots of questions. Like my daughter, he has a Neptune/Saturn conjunction, and is a hard and disciplined worker, working hard to realize/structure his visions. He's done our company a lot of good, he has a sound mind and does not get bogged down by all the intricacies and sensitivities of culture/arts, a field where you meet a lot of extremely sensitive people. The strange thing was I felt slightly attracted to him while he is not my type, but his Mars is on my NN, his Pluto on my Vx, Sun/Merc opp Vertex and Psyche on my Sun, his Sat/Nept on my Venus, his Chiron on my Moon, Libra Moon on Jup and Eros on my POF, so not so strange after all. Inspiration can feel as sexual attraction. It was mutual of course.
This weekend my best friend (a Moon in Lib too) and I went to work in earnest on a mutual inspiration-in-work project. I started a inspirationbook and want to apply for a job in architecture or with the police, they're looking for female 45 plus women detectives right now (my dream when I was a kid, to become a detective!) Eros has thrown my doors wide open, it seems, happy for gifts! It has shut another door down (my relationship) but I bet that is what was supposed to happen at this point.
I'm feeling energized with this Eros in Virgo! (and mad at my ex). Love, Juliet

Wow Juliet that's some connection! No wonder you feel inspired. And being mad really is energizing, it's a kind of passion after all .. Being open to gifts has been the hardest trick of all for me, I see them sometimes and think "ah yes but do I deserve them". The answer is yes, we all do - wonderful that you can see your situation like this.
Bvanzy - if you haven't been to Paris, beware, it is bewitching and beguiling! It's everything that's written about it, and more. Walk, and walk - (and never assume that any driver will stop for you to cross the road, even on a crossing!!) If you know it, you'll know what I mean. If you don't, you have some wonderful discoveries to make.
I didn't intend to fall in love there, but it happened, like a lightening strike. You never intend to, it's like falling asleep, it happens to you, something much bigger decides it! There was a heady Eros/Venus/Pluto connection at the time!

Wow, falling in love in Paris...
Walk, and walk - (and never assume that any driver will stop for you to cross the road, even on a crossing!!) This is a European disease, so we continental European women learn crossing skills at an early age. I always use my charm and eyes and it almost always works! But yes, do walk!

Yes it was "wow" - I can pinpoint it to the minute and set an event chart, in which Uranus was rising very close to the ascendant! "Un coup de foudre" as the French call it (a bolt of lightening!) Whatever happens or doesn't it was an extraordinary gift and blessing.

Eros almost on my Sun (and Sat just past it). To deal with the break up with bf, I started Ashtanga Yoga, to add to my usual walking and biking. It's very demanding physically, but sports that lead me to exhaustion make me utterly utterly happy, like doing eight hour fast mountainhikes... A discovery and gift of this past year. Ashtanga trains the whole body, something that walking on flat terrain and biking lacks. Never would have thought I would welcome my 52nd year very fit and trained. So I'm doing great, commit to my passion, do nothing I don't feel like, and have dreams of goodbyes and of bf. I decided to let go of all expectations of how the healing process would have to go or what the relationship was all about or whatever. I bet this creativity is Eros.

That's great Juliet - and what a perfect manifestation of Saturn in Virgo, working hard on your fitness and health. What I love about yoga - I don't do Ashtanga, it's too strong for me until I get fitter - is that it combines the whole body, and the mind, and the spirit. It's very involving, and becomes a passion very quickly I found.
Letting go of expectations is something I need to work on too - with Jupiter/Chiron in Pisces I ought to be able to do it, but can't. (Saturn is transiting opposite them at the moment, pointing out just that!) In fact I'd been thinking just today how many things I start and don't pursue, from books, to creative projects (I've just thrown out about 10 half-finished stitching kits), to gym memberships, to recipe books ... and then having started them, I abandon them, but keep them. "Just in case". For years!
Saturn and Eros together seem to be saying, find a passion - be it a stitching kit, a book, an astrology chart, a cookery project, whatever, and stay with it. Work through the detail, relish it, and stop spreading yourself so thin that you can't possibly concentrate on everything you've started. That's a Mercury rising in Gemini for you - butterfly mind. It's great, and it means I learn a lot. But by sticking, I really will use my energy wisely and create something (Eros) worthwhile and lasting (Saturn).

Samina, How are you? Where will the New Moon be at?? (a few hours later) This must be Freudian: at 7 deg 48 Virgo, and it will aspect about anything in my chart, for starters my Sun at 9 deg of Virgo, but my Saturn at 8 deg of Sag too, and Uranus at 8 deg of Leo. The local chart of the New Moon will have the MC/Jupiter conjunction conjunct my natal Moon/AC conjunction at 9 deg Cap, and New Moon will trine it. Vertex of the New Moon will be midpoint natal Venus/Jupiter. Natal 8th House is emphasized again, as in my SR.
The New Moon Mars Venus Mercury conjunction will conjunct Jupiter and Psyche (and Lust and Sappho) and transiting NN and Chiron are trine my Venus at 17 deg Libra. I’ll start a new career coaching program tomorrow, got offered some sittings for free when I called my former coach yesterday for some advice!
I’m losing a lot of weight effortlessly, without dieting. People are starting to notice, and the weight loss only started two weeks ago. Thank you, Saturn on Sun! Solar return will follow soon, at the 3rd of September, with Moon on natal Venus and POF on Juno in natal 5th.
I’m feeling at a crossroads, very Wheel of Fortune-ish, since I had to let go of someone so beloved as my bf, but I feel a lot of new energy coming in, and I mean a lot. A passion to get to know me even better, something like that, to be the most authentic Juliet I can be.

hi juliet! i'm doing great! there's so much energy going on right now... riding a great & very exciting wave. particularly looking to Merc, Venus, and Mars all crossing my ASC together next week, joining Adonis and my natal asteroid in the 1st house. next week has so many very, very cool transits...eros & jupiter all over the place, lots of fun. i have my first nationals ballroom competition next week, so it is *very* well-timed! and all on the heels of all this activity around my uranus/pluto in virgo, including the conjuction of eros & saturn & the new moon. i feel like a deep, deep transformation is occurring... utter newness emerging here in my mid-40s and hearkening back to my late teens. i'll take it. congrats on your weight loss!!! keep us posted on all your developments. i check in regularly, even tho i don't post much. *hug* samina

Thanks Juliet (and well done from me too on the weight loss, Saturn on Pluto meant I got a proper gym programme organised which is checked once a month, instead of the "I may go, I may not" thing that was happening before. And I'm sticking to it, so far!) I hadn't checked the new Moon, my Pluto is 7.54 Virgo, so that's a pretty direct hit! Having had lots of other 5th/Virgo transits, and now this, it's not surprising that I'm getting some Plutonian issues coming up around power in relationships and underhand behaviour (directed at a neighbour, not at me). Just had a real revelation on Pluto/Scorpio and the Moon, which I'll put on another thread as it's going too far off the topic for this one!

Oh Juliet, your enthusiasm is lighting me up. Happy Eros conjunct your natal sun! This and the new moon is so close to your solar return--it bodes well for a lot more passion and sparkle in the upcoming solar year. Your creative expression is going to go over the top and wow a lot of people! Actually, isn't your Eros return about ten days after your solar? It would be interesting to work out that chart. I have a new program-- I'll give it a go and report back.
Samina, it's great to see you! And good luck on your national ballroom competition! Those transits are wildly supportive. I love that you are doing this. I remember when it was just a dream!
Ariesmoon, I got more serious about my gym training with Saturn over Pluto too! It adds a lot of focus. You can see it with people born with that conjunction. It's in their eyes!
Warm wishes everyone, Kim

Congrats on your ballroom competition, Samina! And Kim, I'm too tired (had a mate over for diner) to actually do the Eros return, but it is somewhere on the 14th, and it is a Venus return too, with Mars and Mercury conjunct. My biggest challenge, but I'm in a unusual, confident and above all open mood now, is to let go of any expectations and just go with the flow. Inspired by Ariesmoon: transiting True Node is at 18 deg of Aq now then, the Antiscia of my 12 deg of Scorp NN, and the deg of my drac Psyche.
Eros return, 14th of Sep 2008, exactly 3 pm local time! 13 deg Sag ac, Pisces opposite my Sun, at 11 deg of Pisces, and the above mentioned Mars, Merc Venus conjunction at the MC. I'm turning in quite a she-jock, sporting all the time to use my over abundant physical energy! Jupiter direct again, I noticed. Sun conjunct natal Mercury. Not going to do any interpretations, but try to go with the flow.
Have fun while working out!

Having my Eros return tomorrow. In preparation for it I started doing the Artists Way again, Julia Cameron, and those morning pages are instant meditation... It liberates my mind. It blows my mind. In less then four weeks, since I started Ashanta Yoga, I've lost 10 kilos, which is 22 pounds. I don't know what is happening, but it feels like I've become seriously unstuck, growing again. And this all with friend Saturn just past a conjunction to my Sun in 8 and applying to Mars soon... And today I received a letter (how Venus in 8, which is almost conjoined by Mars, Merc and Venus now) which stated I will receive a rather big yearly pension when my ex will die. Of course I hope he will live a long time, but nevertheless I am very happy with it. We never married, and usually one has got to go to court to be applicable then.
