Wow thank you Kim! I've got a few pages of scribbled notes from your audio file so I'm going back to read them again, meantime just to flag up a few things that I'll be looking at with Eros into Virgo. Great tips from Jeanette, I'll definitely put those into practice!
I have Virgo intercepted in my fifth, with Leo 28.48 on the cusp, so Eros into Virgo means Eros into the 5th, and in the fifth for the whole of Virgo (and 10 of Libra so I'll be looking out for it hitting the Aries point too!) What you said about finding the real passion in life, and how you approach it (I'll be no good at it, he's too good for me ..) boy did they ring true, so this is my time to really think about it, and with Saturn alongside, to do some big thinking!
Some heavy transits to come - in late Leo, it hits Uranus at 27 Leo, then in the 5th, it will conjunct Pluto (7.52 Virgo), Psyche (10.53 Virgo) - Saturn alongside - and then True Black Moon Lilith (21.36 Virgo). It will also oppose Chiron (10 Pisces) and Jupiter (12 Pisces), and will square my natal Eros at 7.10 Gemini. So this is one big hit for me!
But it's all a gift, and one I feel I'm ready for.

Thank you Ariesmoon for being the first to listen to the transit report! I'm glad it made sense and has helpful ideas. Yes, it is the time to think about what you love, what you desire and why you desire it! I find that transits to intercepted signs are like going into a room and discovering there is a hidden door there! Where you approach the 5th with Solar dignity and Leo flare, you get into it (creativity, children, love affairs) and find out really you are very Virgo about the whole thing...and you need to express your sense of discernment, your love of 'compare-contrast', structure, organization (lists ) and a more Earthy approach than Fire - mythic. It's a great discovery once you get comfortable with the switch in energy! Here are some ideas for Eros transiting the 5th from my Eros Reports: Eros Through the Fifth HouseI…my business is to create. --William BlakeAs Eros enters the fifth house, the glitter of creative self-expression, affairs of the heart and playful exchange take on the muse of passionate intensity. Colors seem brighter, friendships more sincere and life more worthy of risk taking. Everything that makes us feel unique and special is heightened by the passion of the god of love. Because the fifth house lends itself so fully to romantic desires and expressions of love, Eros transits here can introduce a special person into the life or enhance an ongoing relationship. The theme is one of extraordinary love that reminds us of our own uniqueness. The desire to be appreciated and acknowledged comes to the fore and may be answered in various ways. Offspring, creative projects, performing arts, love affairs, kindred spirits and even speculative success can all evoke the feelings of being special. Remember that this is Leo’s natural house. It not only brings up issues of recognition--distinction but of love--heart felt love! Again, think about how you 'treat' the things you love and what you love about yourself. Like a best friend? Those contacts to the outer planets are strong hits--Eros is moving very quickly so you might experience them as sudden jolts of awareness. I imagine how you express your 5th is changing at this time, or at least under intense scrutiny, with Saturn there! Mercury zips through ahead and the sun just behind! Big month! Keep us posted! Kim Are you planing creative renovations?

Hi Kim and thanks so much for this, I'd forgotten to mention that I also have a progressed Uranus/Mercury conjunction at 0 Virgo, which I think accounts for the creative passion that astrology is bringing out in me! Eros hitting that will no doubt be a quick jolt of electricity, I'll have to watch out for that on 16th August!
I love the idea of a hidden door to describe intercepted houses. I used to do a lot of theatre backstage work, and the idea of what's going on on stage (Leo) depending entirely on attention to detail behind the scenes (Virgo intercepted) has always fascinated me! I think very few people watching a show give much thought to what's going on backstage - organised chaos - but I know one doesn't work without the other! There's also the point about actors - there is no substitute for meticulous preparation. None at all.
It's also occurring to me writing this, that I do love attention to detail, I love remembering the details of what people love, favourite music, movies, how they drink their coffee, stuff like that. And I love it when people remember that about me. I do get very frustrated by my own and others' attention to detail though - typical Aries Moon, want it now - it just holds me up, and I'm having to work very hard (Saturn in the 5th) to learn patience and to counter the frustration it causes me. And I don't take care of myself with anywhere near the precision I lavish on other people - another lesson there!!
Eros through the 5th means time for me to rediscover the joy of the creative process and immerse myself in the details - Tom Jacobs said something very similar to me in my True BML report (Lilith in the 5th in Virgo!).

Yes, that love of remembering the little things about others is very Virgo 5th. Leo there loves deeply of course but not in the same way and I can see how your Aries Moon would find the Leo expression more compatible. Self nurturing is so important! Eros is about love and that has to start in ourselves. This transit would be a great time for you to get in the habit (Virgo) of treating yourself as you love to treat others--making sure you take yourself to your fav movies, music and coffee, weaving in all the lovely care every day! The more you treat yourself well, the more you will attract others to do the same! Ooh and Pluto will again trine exact your prog Me/Ur! That is big and yes, Eros pre-paves it so take notes! Warmly, Kim

Kim, that was really a GREAT reading! Thank you! I got a lot out of it already and hope to get into it more if I can get the time. Like AriesMoon, I also have a Chiron/Jupiter conjunction @ 10 degrees Pisces and Moon in Pisces, as well - all in the 5th house. Eros will energize Pluto, in Virgo in 11th, and the squares to my Sun and Mercury/Juno in 8th will also be activated. Pluto also is the base of the kite containing a grand water trine. So Eros is coming to visit my Pluto! I'm already lit up right now and can't wait to see what comes next. Seat belts and helmet required - it should be a fun ride! ;D Warm wishes to you, Aphrodite

Hi Aphrodite, I'm glad you liked it! I was thinking of how many forum members and visitors have Pluto in Virgo or the Pluto/Uranus conjunction opposite Chiron. Yes, all waking up. I think the days around the Eros Uranus opposition will really stir things up as well. Here is a brief rave about transiting Eros over Pluto --some of us are getting that now in Leo too! As a matter of fact, I just checked and Eros is conjunct MY Natal Pluto today! Wow.... Kim Transiting Eros to Pluto Let us hob and nob with death. --Lord Alfred TennysonEros transiting Pluto awakens a deep and primordial desire to transform. Often what Pluto wants to transform, however, is power and control out of the hands of others and into its own. This is achieved in a variety of ways and styles although every one of them will have a bass note of intensity and passion. If Eros succeeds in arousing Pluto, the desire for deep and intimate relationship will assert itself in a craving so single minded and contained as to be virtually unstoppable. If it happens in a partnership or a love affair, the journey will go deep into the well of souls. If the transit is long lasting, or occurs with other like significators, it can mark the beginnings of a new relationship whose only rule is No Escape. Needless to say, this kind of union may have an element of obsession about it. One of the sharpest desires of Pluto is to concentrate and exchange energy so if intensity is not felt in an intimate love union or creative involvement it can reform as engagement in power struggles, fights and arguments. All these forms of interaction are intense and valid in the sense that they deal with issues of intimacy and power although the later can be ultimately more destructive. Eros and Pluto have similar desires in the sexual arena and if an intimate relationship forms during one of these transits, it may be difficult to avoid going to the depths. This creates challenges only when one or the other of the couple is unavailable or being together in that way is considered taboo. Unfortunately, taboos make both Eros and Pluto all the more intrigued. Regardless of how this transit acts out, material from the unconscious will come bubbling up in the form of potent desires that may be quite foreign to the conscious awareness. If this transit is experienced through the context of an intimate relationship or union, the road may be treacherous although it may also be paved with gold. How ever we experiences it, tremendous energy may potentially be at our finger tips.

I wonder what this Eros transit will bring. Natal Pluto is on 0 deg of Virgo , and Eros will then conjunct Sun, Mars, Merc, Eros, Psyche, all in 8. Must be intense, but I can't say I really feel it. Yet.
Maybe it will 'alleviate' some of the mature earthy structure the Saturn transit through Virgo has awakened in me.

Hi Juliet!!! It's great to see you! I thought of you while talking about Eros into Virgo, Knowing that you have so much 8th house activity there. I also can see how Eros might 'lighten up' some of the more maturing Saturn influence. Over the last 5 years you've had Uranus opposing, Nodes rushing through too, Saturn now and then this sweep of Eros that will cross where Saturn has been and then pre-pave after the conjunction. If anyone can give us insights into this experience, it's you. And your Eros return is in there too! Please post any revelations. I had Eros over Pluto yesterday, 08-08-08, and I definitely felt a charge--in a good way. I even made contact with Adonis...he looked like Adonis anyway...and I didn't see it coming. (which is the best way and also very Pluto)! I don't have any conjunctions in Virgo but do get the square to Sun and Mercury, trine to Mars and MC and square to Venus/Jupiter all from the 1st and 2nd house. We shall compare notes! Warm wishes, Kim

Kim! Great to see you too! Met any other Adonises?
Strange, maybe Eros is peeping around a corner after all.... I dreamt of my ex lover yesterday, that he'd turned into a red haired fat circusclown. He asked me for a date and I declined, but I still thought him attractive, or rather sweet and wondered if I should not change my mind. We had a Eros Eros conjunction and the relationship was sexually very charged, very 8th house, comp Venus, Sun, Ac and Nep conjunct in Sco. My friend just told me she ran into him last week (I was on a vacation in France) and that it was so obvious he wanted to know about me, but did not dare ask. It is against her principles to volunteer any information, so she left it at that, things became rather uneasy and off he went. I'll keep you posted! () Juliet

This is a very interesting thread! There's are some people around me that were born during the Uranus/Pluto Virgo conjunction in the '60s. Uranus is moving toward the midlife opposition or is already there for some. Next comes Saturn into Virgo and now Eros! I wish I knew some of these people well enough to ask about the experience. I'm sure most have some personal planet(s) involved, as well. It must be a wild ride! Liberating and fun for some; not so much for others. Nevertheless, I haven't found the guts yet! I am so nosy, but I know it is probably best that I not pry into the lives of people that I don't know that well. The last pass of Uranus over my Pisces Moon (square 8th house Mercury/Juno) is coming soon and I might get emotionally SMACKED! Still... This is mighty interesting! Aphrodite

It's a good point, Aphrodite. There is a whole mini-generation of those with Ur/Pl and a sub of the 64'-67's with Saturn and Chiron opposite in Pisces. I would say with the last pass of Uranus over your Pisces Moon, and Eros opposition, that you might get emotionally awakened! It's a thrilling contact full of change and surprise! Will Eros pre-pave this conjunction by opp? If so pay attention to those few days to get an idea of what wants to wake up, where you might be tolerating things that need to go and where your heart's desire is. Keep us posted! Kim

Hi all - I'm new here and devouring each thread! Currently Eros is conjunct my vertex in 7th. After that conjunct uranus 3 Virgo and then Pluto at 11 Virgo in 8th. I was prompted to write by a dream last night. I called my current bf on the cell phone but reached my ex! It was really strange, I couldn't figure it out. The ex's voice mail was droning on and on and I was wondering how did this happen. They are not alike at all (except both are scorpio with libra rising). My 7th house is intercepted and I've read that that means I would have difficulty accessing the energy there. Mars is there too at 10 Leo.
I've noticed recently a complete turnabout in my thinking in close relationships. Mainly with my bf. I am just noticing how egocentrical my thinking has been, stemming no doubt from deep insecurity. I think these eclipses have triggered huge ego resolutions/dissolutions. The solar in my 7th and lunar to occur in my first conjunct my sun. But I digress.
My point was about Pluto. Is it possible that Eros nearing Pluto might lead to the opposite effect as described by Kim? By that I mean, events are allowing for me to lighten up on the reins in relationships. This may get long (if it hasn't already) and most revealing for me but as an example, I tried calling my bf on Saturday morning to see what the plans were (he was coming up). The message on the phone was "at the subscribers request, this call does not accept incoming calls." In a moment of angst, it actually crossed my mind to wonder, did he do that because I called him too much!! (I had left a message the day before). He arrived shortly after that and told me he lost his phone and had to suspend his account!! I was kind of humorous and a clear example of how my distorted thinking (and then decline emotionally) has affected my one on one relationships. Some of it is him no doubt, but I've been more able to be rational instead of jumping to conclusions with me at the center.
If this only tinges on relevance to this thread, my apologies, it seemed to strike a chord.
Thanks for the opportunity.
p.s Aphrodite - feel free to ask whatever questions you might be wanting to ask regarding these transits. At the moment my chart even from an inexperienced eye has lots of potential for transformation which I hope to capture and structure with Saturn now entering my 8th. You may be right about that "wild ride."

Hi Cedarma,
Welcome to the forum.
I think you are on to something with Eros contacts and 'lightening up'. I know I say often that Eros coincides with a deepening of the capacity for intimacy and relationship so 'lighten up' at first seems out of synch. What might be going on though is your ability to see into the deeper strands of the relationship--He wasn't barring you--he lost his phone--no big deal. Being able to see things in that way as opposed to twisting with worry and doubt is a definite a deepening of your capacity to relate! And, if feels a lot better too!
Eros can help us see through the superficial things that, if taken seriously, can cause a lot of worry and stress. This is a gift--it gives us confidence, peace and a more open view of life. Can you see how this might be operating?
I'm thinking Eros over the Vertex could coincide with such realizations!

What a good idea to do these reports on Eros. That was fascinating.
Eros will be conjuncting my Virgo Mercury when it reaches 8', and later on it will conjunct my Pluto/Venus conjunction in late Virgo and then my Moon at 2' Libra. All in the 8th house.
I've not been going through the best of times recently, but have already booked a holiday in Paris for the week of when Eros starts to conjunct my Venus/Pluto. No holiday romances though, but I wouldn't mind some serious inspiration about how to utterly revolutionise my life - I've been trying now for months with a little success but not enough.
Bright blessings to you Kim and keep up the good work.
