".......... You have (hope I have this right) Natal Mars conjunct your Pluto/Vesta & Saturn/Pluto midpoints. Right away, that says something about your personal planet Mars and how you assert your healthy aggression, get your way and even “get out of bed” in the morning! Mars is your engine and here you have the added fuel of Pl/Ves and Sa/Pl. Now, these midpoints themselves aren’t as important as say, midpoints involving the Sun or angles. They are more “generational” (at least the Saturn/Pluto one) as most people born your year will have that midpoint in Cancer and many will have it in that degree. Still, on your personal planet Mars, we can see something quite personal perhaps. " Yes Kim!!!.......... you have it all correct with these midpoints and really amazing and interesting things I will be reading over quite a few times! Yes also to the Generational Saturn/Pluto.. but for a short time, I can say the two were in Biquintile aspect, thus the Quintile they both make, is that midpoint and the aspect to my MARS. This adds I feel even more fuel to the Mars in first house fires (Saturn/Vest in Aries in the 11th house; Sautrn ruler of my 8th house) and more "obsession" for details (or talent for those things) Pluto in Virgo in the 4th ruler of my 6th house Quintile my Mars in the first ruler of my 11th house.. Biquintile Saturn/Vesta conjunction in Aries. Pointing back at Mars in the first the energies of the body.. Midpoints are as you say one of those details.. an intense point when there is a personal planet there.. and these clear relationships between those planets are kind of interesting for me, something I discovered before midpoints..the midpoints only highlight a theme..Mars being one of the stronger planets in my chart only turns up the "heat" on it. Thank you for your insights.. I'll try to thinking some of the other things out later. take care, svenskasfinx

dear all,
i have something to add, kind of.
i recently read in ask annie's astrology column something about sun/moon midpoint aspects in synastry. i believe the couple in question had sun/moon midpoints that squared each other, and annie commented on how that kind of aspect makes it very hard to forget the other. i tried finding the column so i could quote that section, but i seem to have lost my bookmark.
originally i thought my friend gordon's sun/moon midpoint was sag, but as it turns out it's leo (i really don't know where i got the sag midpoint from, but i discovered my error through astro.com recently). now my sun/moon midpoint is aquarius, which means our su/mo midpoints are opposite each other. the opposition is by several degrees, so it's not exact, but it's close. it's probably just another thing that contributes to my on-going obsession with him. maybe obsession isn't the right word. i liked what annie said, about finding it very hard to forget the other (re su/mo midpoints square each other). it's true, i cannot forget this man. i can't even put it into words. there just are none.
anyway, i thought this was interesting...his jupiter and adonis are conjunct his su/mo midpoint (by a couple degrees). i think this is evident in the way he expresses himself (i'd say it's definitely part of his core personality), and i thought this might be useful for others who are analyzing charts, to remember to check for planets that conjunct a major midpoint like the one between the sun and the moon. it's pretty uncanny when you start putting together the puzzle, so to speak.
sincerely, chrissy

Dear Sielou- My apologies..I missed your question regarding Astro.com mid-point calculations. Yes, I know that the chart looks a bit unusual...if you start by looking at the Sun, look to the right one box and then down to the bottom planet...first you will come across the Moon. That box to the right of the Sun will be your mid-point calculation for those two planets. Then, let's try something else...Start with your Moon box, move right two boxes, then two boxes down-there you will find your Venus. The mid-point between your Moon and Venus will be the box two spaces to the right of your Moon. (And two up from Venus because you are looking for it's mid-point to your moon). Stay on the same line of the moon, starting at the moon-move right 4 boxes, look down 4 boxes and you will see your Jupiter box. Thus, the box 4 spaces to the right of the moon is your mid-point calculation for your Moon and Jupiter. Does this make sense? You continue for any two planets or asteroids you wish!! Once you get the hang of it, it is easy! Hope that was descriptive enough...please let me know if you were able to interpret the chart! It makes things easier and you'll love learning about the mid-points and comparing them with the other charts you are studying! Hope I helped! Take care- GemStar

Thanks Gemstar for helping me interpreting this midpoint grid at Astro.com =). I found this program Astrolog 5.40 - if I now remember the numbers right - helpful here, calculating the midpoints. Chrissymgreen I found that with this man I have this amazing composite with (me> 3 feb 1974 at 09:28 in Stockholm, he> 4 jul 1977 at 14:00 in Visby) that my sun-moon aries midpoint is opposite his north node in libra !We also have this similarity> my sun-moon aries midpoint conjuncts my Chiron, and his sun-moon taurus midpoint also conjuncts his Chiron !His Chiron in 5Taurus conjuncts my Taurus ascendant at nearly 1Taurus. Any thoughts/suggestions/comments on the above mentioned data?A clear cut question: How do you/or any other, think this sun-moon midpoint conjuncting Chiron might express itself? (He has his Chiron in the beginning of his 7th house, and I have mine in my 12th intercepted in Aries, having Aquarius at my 12th house cusp). His and my Sun-Moon midpoint is vigintile each other. According to groups.msn.com/HOROSCOPESCHAT/quintilesseptilesnoviles.msnw"They should be taken account along with a weak version of the interpretation of the square when considering the meaning of the vigintile (18º)". So the vigintile is similar to the square..... I can´t help but wonder if He can´t forget me as I can´t forget him ;D? I also have find that many of my midpoints is conjuncting his personal planets. Is this something that might effect him or me the most? This is soooo interesting =). I am always thankful for any light someone might shed !
