Hi everyone.. here's a chart I cast a while back... was a pretty burning question, which is reflected quite well in the chart. the whole question is: 'is this the man I should/will marry (if I should then I will)?' (from memory at the time I felt should/will are the same thing) from our wonderful Juliet I know this chart has YES, YES, YES... there are three pairs of planets/luminaries in mutual reception, so there's a lot of swapping around, but it all boils down to the sun, moon and Saturn...applying conjunction. ...anyone see anything with lovely fresh eyes? like timing? pm

Hi Prima,
I don't have time for a full delineation. I can say that His ruler Sun, approaching your ruler Uranus by trine, co-ruler Saturn by semi-sextile gives a yes.
'Should' is an interesting word. I don't like it in the question because it implies a feel of obligation to act...'Will' is different...yet, regardless of the query, I get a yes.
With Neptune on the Asc, I wonder what you are dreaming about!
I'm looking forward to reading Juliet's response!

Hi Prima! Your horary: P of Marriage at 12.26 Tau in 3, conjunct your natal Sun. Did you know that?? I changed the house system to Regiomontanus, which I prefer.
There are three pairs of planets in mutual reception: Pluto and Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune, and Moon and Sun. Mutual reception works as a conjunction, so that's why we can swap them. With mutual strong reception, you can swap everything about the involved planets, also their degrees. Example in this chart: everything that aspects Sun, can be considered aspecting Moon too.
I’d like to avoid doing that, because I get dizzy only thinking about it. I use modern rulers and asteroids for illustrative purposes only, or to predict the course of events.
Moon is co-ruler and shows the events. Your traditional ruler is Saturn. Ruler for x is Sun.
Saturn: is in 6, the house of healing, health, illness, servants, but also of daily life, especially the daily tasks. Do you relate to that? What is great, is that both Saturn and Moon are received by the Sun in its sign, a certain sign of X's feelings for you.
He as Sun in Can is received by your co-ruler Moon, so there are strong mutual feelings. Do you know that in some horary schools perfecting applying aspects are not even considered that important when there is no mutual reception? Well, Saturn. Like Moon, he is received by Sun, in Jupiters triplicity, Mercury's term and Saturns/your own face. You appear to like yourself, Prima! But Saturn is in detriment in Leo, you do not feel the most empowered now...
Sun is in your fifth house, very telling. Fun, sex. Sun likes being there!
Since they are in mutual reception, we can swap Sun and Moon. So Sun gets 9.26 degrees of Leo and conjuncts Saturn soon, in 16 minutes. That means Saturn is Cazimi, which I see as a strengthening thing.
Can you tell I'm thinking out loud? That's my favorite modus operandi, especially with the sticky heat wave (offical now, and humidity more than 60%, yuck). You both in 6 makes me think of you cooking together, although I hope you will do more then that! Moon will move to 6.38 degrees of Cancer, and is very strong there as well. What will Moon do? It's in a nice place: 5 of joy and sex and children. It is funny that the Moon in its original position had last passed over your old mate Mercury: a lot of thinkin'. Ruler of 8, and you get transformative thinking, in Cancer, about emotional security.
The Yes is clear cut, because of his swapped Sun conjuncting you, but the circumstances and outcome I find quite hard to describe. For instance: do I look at the original last aspect of the Moon, or the last aspect of the swapped Moon?? Both would imply an opposition to outer planets, Pluto or Neptune. Reminds me of my own words: keep it as simple as possible. I'd better finish! I hope you follow me, and I hope I added something to what you'd already seen yourself.
Love, Juliet

Hello everyone.. thanks Kim, yes 'should' is a bit dodgy - which is why I examined it carefully as I was formulating the question. I was looking at synastry and ninth harmonic charts when I had the sudden thought 'this is the man I should marry!'. Bizzare... but needed to get this all out of the way so that I can focus on other matters which need my attention.. whatever those might be! as to Neptune on the ASC - this is in his natal chart too - I have the strangest dreams lately... including one where he was hovering over me closely, kissed my ear, causing me to jump wide awake as if he had really been 'here' with me. thanks Juliet...your analysis is brilliant... what would we do without you around here??? ok what else have we got here... jupiter opposite my natal sun (conj. my Earth and his Pfortune) North Node less than a degree from my natal NN... ninth house (for 'second husband') is ruled by Venus, who is in the fourth approaching our little friend Eros.. sextiling both significators... I also see Mars conjunct DSC, opposed to Neptune.. which is in mutual reception with the charts new ruler Uranus (inconjunct Mars) swapping these around makes for a bit of confusion indeed. Perhaps we are misunderstanding/needing to adjust to each others' actions/behaviours? looking to the second house cusp, as Kim suggests for clues as to where this future begins...we have Pisces, who's ruler is still retrograde and in the ninth (although slow and ready to station direct)... also square to Mercury (my thoughts on the matter) and trining the Vertex and significators Sun/Moon.... I think this is reflected in that since I cast this chart there has been a 'turning point' and we at least have a dialogue on marriage, albeit not the one I want (he is very flippant about it in true 'prankster' style). which cusp or significator do I look at for timing?? thanks everyone pm

Brilliant! No way, Saint Jose! I'm more daring these days, dare to make choices. And it's like with painting, one develops an own style after a while. Prima, for timing we would look at the Moon's aspects. Oh, I just woke up and am not concentrated yet, I'll come back tonight and maybe you could try yourself, with all the rules in the intro to the horary section??

Way Brilliant Jose. ;D well, I am trying to do this moon timing thingy... just a sec here is that list of timing by whatchamacallit (oh what an astrologer I am ) I mean quadruplicities (see I can do lingo too) Cardinal Signs and Houses Angular = Days Succedent=weeks Cadent=months Mutable Signs and Houses Angular=Weeks Succedent=Months Cadent=Years Fixed Signs and Houses Angular=Months Succedent=Years Cadent=unknown time moon is in leo (fixed) in six (cadent) so we are looking at unknown time? switching sun and moon (geez) as per mutual reception fancy pants astrology.... moon is in cancer (cardinal) in five (succedent) so WEEKS???.. wtf??? oh brilliant. is there another way? moon's aspects gives some indication? joy! pm

Hi PM,
I read the Moon's aspects like you have, although, as I mentioned in my pm (HA!-- a pm to PM!) I am confused for this reason:
In all the horaries I have "done" since learning about this form, in most questions, (not all) I have not been able to discern an accurate timing to events when the question was not specifically one of "time."
What I need to do is go back and look at all my charts and check receptions, terms, etc. Juliet has brought this up several times but it's not something I have focused on and I think she may be right. Then I may get an accurate reading. Still learning.
The "fixed and cadent" answer--time unknown, seems accurate here.
I did want to tell you, that when I met my husband at the ripe age of 18 we were both working at the same place in Pittsburgh the summer before we went to the same college. I had the distinct thought "you will marry this man," and although I did record it in my diary in an offend way, I really did not pay much attention to the thought. It was so random. And here we are 28 years later!!!!
Love, Amorous

how about this Freudian slip....
"and although I did record it in my diary in an offend way"
you mean off-hand?
anyway... I can live with 'unknown time' for now... just having a crisis in oonfidence in my ability to read a chart!

Hi Prima and Amoroso! I missed the other Freudian one... Timing... oh! Reading that horary book by Karen Hamaker Zondag, I believe one can take both Moon aspects and the other applying aspects for timing. If we choose the aspect that gives the Yes, the swapped Sun applying to Saturn, there are only 28 minutes, 28 time-units to go. She says timing is always difficult and one should follow intuition about it. Months seem the most likely here... or do you want to marry in 28 weeks?? But what is the unit? I'm going to study old charts too, and charts here on the forum. She mentions an Arabic part of Wedding Ceremony. Maybe it's on the Arabic Parts calculator??http://www.noendpress.com/pvachier/arabicparts/ Oh yeah. Weddings and legal contracts! Gotta run, help my son move... Love, Juliet

28 weeks! does sound a bit quick doesn't it?
part of wedding ceremonies = cusp of 9 + cusp of 3 - Venus... Leo 27' 17
well, its in the 7th...and not far from the significators.
more later, pm

much, much later.... anyone ever get completely disheartened with astrology??
This relationship couldn't have gone more wrong... we aren't even talking now and he hasn't seen his child more than a handful of times in the five months since she was born...
I cast another chart the other day asking 'is this man my husband to be?' (I really don't know why, as things are just so bad, even if I do love him) and got a definite 'yes'. Its all so strange.
