I thought I would through this into the soup!

Here is an interesting and well written article that could open the discussion for astrology as a map of the �holographic reality�. The site was originally posted as REALITY.ASC on the KeelyNet BBS on February 24, 1991�but I haven�t been able to source the author. Brilliant, whoever they are!

The author begins with the findings of physicist Alain Aspect, some 20 years ago, on how a sub-atomic particles are capable of �faster than light� communication. Of course, if they are sending signals, we have a big problem with TIME! This article uses the Holographic model to explain the instant communication as well a various phenomena involved in memory, sensory perception, ESP and altered states of consciousness, and reality itself.

The author also discusses the nature of synchronicity and that is were astrology comes in because what are the transits but symbols of synchronistic events?

The Author says�Synchronicities or meaningful coincidences suddenly makes sense, and everything in reality would have to be seen as a metaphor, for even the most haphazard events would express some underlying symmetry.�

This underlying symmetry is what we see in the chart of �a moment in time� strongly noticeable in an individuals life as well as in a horary question.

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum and I'm very pleased to be here, and hopefully I will get to know many of you. Wanted to say (especially) to you Kim...thanks for the article you posted on this thread....the subject of Quantum Physics is endlessly fascinating. Case in point would be the emergence of the "String Theory".

But firstly, I wanted to say.....I do think the natal chart is a blueprint of our evolutionary growth and from what point we returned here....and why.

Anyway...about the string theory...

What appears to be "impossible" in our "normal" field of awareness is "seen" at the quantum level of existance as an incredibile network of unknown "invisibile dimensions" and...... however "invisibile" to our senses these may be....they not only exist, but, these unseen dimensions order, interact and produce every conscious and unconscious event in the universe.

How many other dimension there are isnt known (present thought is between 7-10)...but they do know they are a very different place where time doesnt seem to exist and everything moves faster than the speed of light...at least in the 4th dimension.

Once they were able to smash the atom (split) into its componets (that was astounding enough)....the real shocker appeared....the properties displayed by the individual componets completely upset every known law in physics...even Einsteins...insofar as what was known about the nature of "time" during his fabulous work.

Apparently, how we percieve time depends on the dimension we are viewing it thru.......thats why if we are looking thru a 3 dimensional world.....we see everything...ourselves, our world, people....as having a "past"....a "present".....and a "future". We could forget time travel.....that was science fiction because in a 3 dimensional world nothing can move faster than the speed of light.

But all of a sudden...when they viewed the smashed atom..everything changed. The particles were NOT behaving like they should and more importantly...after a long exhaustive observation and rigourious testing over and over again......they had to admit the particles seemed to be "talking" to each other. But how? What they saw was...when they split the atom....no matter how far apart the individual like components got from one another....they reacted exactly as if they were still joined with one another. like components in Europe reacted exactly at the same instant as those in the USA...and in Africa..and in Asia or outerspace. It mattered not the distance or location....there was no time lapse. Knowledge was being shared and absorbed by every like component thruout the universe. It stunned the scientific world....

Much much much more work is needed before they can go from theory to..... knowing what they need to know about the laws of the 4th dimension. Many possibilities are being explored...but one theory gaining credibility is the Universe looks more and more like its made up of the formation of long strings of atoms and their components exactly like what we know as DNA. These electrons, protrons ect...form long strands....or strings...that make up the building blocks of the universe....all things....that encode
all time, all knowledge, all space...all events happening at one moment....time has no time...everything exists at once.

I cant fathom how we cannot be part of that fabric...its far too beautiful for chance....

I think our natal birth chart...reflects the "particle" we are in God's Universe during this life time...and reflects what "dimension" we are in...what we are experiencing and grappling with in this life for our soul growth.

It doesnt seem too much of a stretch of the imagination to me...that God... in his infinite wisdom...has created...untold pathways for each soul in the universe to wind its way into His presence...and if one believes God is the Universe...then one must believe the Universe is an extremely intelligent field that leads to ultimate purity in love and purification of the soul.

I think the layers are so vast...that nothing is by chance and if we could decifer all the knowledge of the natal chart...we wouldn't be here. I think each trip back to earth is a chance to be an electron, maybe a protron...learning every aspect of Gods Universe until we find ourselves in His presence.

I apologize for the length...I tried hard to condense it.....I'm hopeless !

I just read the article, Holographic Astrology: A Few Ideas, BY ERIC FRANCIS.

I liked his approach. He seems to be describing astrology as if to someone who had no concept of how it worked or what it 'was for' and in the process discusses the holographic (whole in every part) nature, Einstein's theory of special relativity, Chaos and fractals, multidimensionality, and Jung in relationship to the transpersonal, archetypal and synchronistic experiences.

It's definitely worth a read.
