I am working on interpreting my solar return for this weekend.
A friend told me I have a KITE aspect. From what I understand a KITE involves a grand trine, with a catch.
It is a grand trine in Fire - Saturn in Leo 2nd house trine Jupiter in Sag 6th house trine Sun in 10th house.
The bottom of the Kite has Juno in 4th there, opposing Sun in 10th.
I have NO idea what this all means.....can someone shed some light on what I need to do with this energy?

Hi EBM, I had a solar return not long ago and so understand the curiosity that comes along with that! What I've found with Kites is that the catch is with the further mid-point....that the further mid-point (in this case your Sun I believe), must be done in some way or will be forced in some way through circumstance. You might want to look up the kite configuration to get a better clue, but I remember that in my own case, the further mid-point planet had been done (I'm talking a process of years here as it is in my natal). A mystic cross was involved as well and so the period was a mile stone of growth...of learning emotional balance through healing and getting over a "hump". The symbology of the 4th-10th axis would be important in your case. In mine it was the 1st-7th. Look to transits to set off the kite mid-points or, people who conjunct those placements. Juno can mean more than one thing...a marriage between people, within self. A committment to self as opposed to another. To an ideal, etc. Some kind of wholeness usually results. Perhaps by shining (your Sun). Have you kept you light hidden? Guess you must be an Aries. Some Aries hide their light under a bushel!! How great you are being encouraged to come out and shine!! I had meant to say "mystic rectangle".
You might take a look at Noel Tyl's forum under the thread "Aspect Patterns" and his response regarding a pattern question.

With only all due respect to Noel , I have to say that any clear pattern our chart portrays is symbolic of the way the parts of ourselves must work together in order to carry out our mission. It is like a signature of sorts and gives a description of the chart as a whole. I have a feeling Jesus had a bowl configuration because of the way he asked God to take this cup from him and the fact that they say he poured out his blood for humanity. That Cup/bowl is the purpose for his being born, according to the story. To eliminate that from the reading of his chart, if it was there, is to overlook something key probably only for the sake of simplicity and speed.
Flower, did you not see the kite as any significance in either the temporary or natal chart and so agree with him by personal experience? It sounds like the opposite is the case.

Hi AE, The pattern was significant for me. I mentioned NT's response as another view point "If we undertand the need-function developmental tensions present between symbols we really don't need a formula teaching-pattern to key us in on possible life development" Not necessarily my own view but might be food for thought for someone else.

I see. So what is "need-function developmental tensions"? I think he means the hard aspects, square, opposition, inconjunct, quindecile,.... I'll stick with hard aspects. Or maybe we could call them the yin aspects. All but the waxing sesquisquare waning semisquare and opposition with Aries as starting point are yin and even the opposition has a yin ruler. But the 3 yang ones included would cause confusion so I guess I'll stick with "hard".

I've taken his "developmental tensions" to mean the hard aspects.
