This is my solar return for 2007. My FIRST REACTION WAS TO SHUDDER (TEETH GNASHING WEEPING,..lol) when I saw the flaming Saturn and Moon conjunct in my 4th house. What is keeping me a little sane is the Gemini Sun at zero on the SR ascendant. It makes me think new things are in the offing--maybe too many but it won't be a dead year to say the least. I would be a liar if I didn't say that I always hope to see an uplift in my romantic life but here it looks pretty touch and go with SR Venus exhibiting a fair number of challenging aspects to it. I wonder if anyone might have a response to the following: 1. This chart seems to have a heavy Mercury patina with the SR ascendant and Sun then the natal venus, sun and mercury actually conjunct the SR ascendant and sun, but what do you make of the fact that Taurus and Scorpio are intercepted...I have instead two houses each for Gemini and Sag. What does this signify especially since in my natal chart, I actually have those same missing signs Taurus and Scorpio TWICE where they intercept Pisces and Virgo!! 2. Do you see any relief for my heart?? Man, I feel like I am going to burst some days and then just crawl under the rug other days. The SR moon Saturn conjunct in H 4 makes me think domestic issues will continue to be weighty and a bit gloomy. Plus see how it conjuncts the natal Uranus in 8th...My mom has passed away already so I am hoping that's not a sign of my mom-in-law being ill between the domestic SR 4th house and there with the natal 8th. The SR VENUS does appear to fall in my 7th house... 3. Is there any major significance to the SUN sitting not only at the ascendant but at ZERO. I know that's a critical degree?

Yes it does look as if the focus will be on the home front. It looks like Saturn has aready passed Uranus? If so, that part is done. With returns we still have to limit its power to what is promised by the natal chart. Sun rules 4th so that is key.
I'm in the middle of my article on interceptions but I've stated how I look at them a couple of times. You will likely see something connected to the intercepted sigs that is out of balance, something not done. This is caused by, or causes a deficiency (in the case of your return) on 2/8 which is projected onto 3/11. This should help you to gain insight into the natal interception. Look at which side of each axis is more comfortable, dignities and debilities, etc. Then look to where all the action is. I would say more but I really have a hard time reading these Piscean type charts. I do better with a more Virgo flavor like Winstar produces. There I can see each cusp and all degrees clearly. But hopefully what I've said will give you some insight. Taurus vs Scorpio is about resources and values. Gem/Sag is reason vs. revelation, communication, education and travel.

Thanks you two. Yeah Gemini is not at a critical degree there. I sort of mispoke. I think I was more wondering what the SR Ascendant and the Sun both being tightly conjunct at zero would portend...probably the usual...it is coming off the taurus cusp--new and active...and sun in house 1...stop Blueorchids you're blinding me with all that self expression....
Yes homefront issues seem to be brewing. I have concerns witrh Saturn sitting on the Moon...with all that is happening around me I need to stay focused and relatively upbeat. Uranus has passed that point there.... Last years SR had Capricorn rising...so I will be interested in seeing if I note a different tone to everything....

Hahhah Flower...Taurus Weeping ...been there....I had a really interesting SR 2006 year...and it does not end until May 21..but with Cap as the Ascendant and I also had Saturn in my 7th house SR but Venus and Mars squared...I worked really hard, colored well within the lines, violated no jaywalking laws or marital vows.... I felt pretty odd because mars also squared venus (also in solar arc mars ocnjunct venus) so I felt sexually energized but rather stymied with the saturn 7th house SR configuration (fell in natal 8th)... it did make me sober and enduringly faithful. Saturn always triggers me to plow responsibly ahead...I have a very tough time bursting out when Saturn is driving the car... (natal grand trine of sautrn/venus.north node...)

Dear Blue... Sun conjunct Ascendant in the SR is considered a very positive year (I'm in the middle of packing up to move house otherwise I'd dig out some quotes and post them, remind me later!) in which you are set to really shine...
try not to view Saturn and Moon in 4 more positively - I for one can see this as manifesting as some thing very positive, after all you are an evolving and aware person and not likely to ignore the lessons Saturn brings, or to dishonour yourself in anyway.
As for your heart, Blue you have Jupiter in the SR seventh - what better sign can you ask for? Enjoy this one - its going to be a wonderful year...
blessings, pm

This is my solar return for 2007. My FIRST REACTION WAS TO SHUDDER (TEETH GNASHING WEEPING,..lol) when I saw the flaming Saturn and Moon conjunct in my 4th house. dear, that 4th-house moon/saturn looks WONDERFUL to me... the moon makes it yummy, and the saturn will make it stick... i see a strong feeling emerging of having a real foundation under you, whether that's quite literally in your nesting into a new sense of home, or more spiritual & emotional in that you gain a new & SOLID sense of inner peace. nothing to fear, blue... those two planets there tell me that increased COMFORT is coming for you... a sense of safety, the ability to retreat and recoup with a feeling of security. yes, i very much like that as well... i see a sunny new paradigm, a new way of looking at the world that reveals things under brighter light... new ideas, new world-view, new way of seeing & expressing your self in that paradigm... samina

Thanks you guys! I definitely think that the SR Sun oin the Ascendant is very optimistic and hopeful. I am also having my Jupiter Return at the end of the year and Jupiter is now in my House 1 via transits (wicked bad for massive appetite but man have I had luscious drips and drabs of unexpected weird financial luck with my work, tax returns, etc...)
Thanks also for the encouragement on Moon/Saturn. Everytime I read about aspects of Saturn to Moon they are obnoxiously intensely hideously NEGATIVE!!! Grr. And I sort of like Saturn. I give it huge respect and it has been helpful for my life and helps keep me centered and not all crazy loosey goosey!!!

I just want to tell everyone that I had an unsually happy birthday today---starting with the weather which was breathtaking. It's what my young daughter calls "Mommy Weather"--READ--- breezy sunny in the low 70s....
If the middle of the day is anything like the year I should be at least chuckling to myself most of the time...... I had escaped from the Studio mid-afternoon for a cup of White Tea when one of our neighbors and Little League fathers stopped at my table for a chat.. He's sort of a bright wild type--a salt and pepper haired attorney for children in cases against our public school system of which there are many.... In hearing that it was my birthday he says (actually blurts out), "I want to kiss you but I know T. (my spouse) would be jealous and I know he hates me anyway."....I laughed because of course this is so not true and when I responded by saying "What would make you say such a thing about T...you know that's not his style..." He responded... "I don't know I'm kidding; I'm just making it up as I go!!!!"
What??? Crazy. LOL... I reported this story at the dinner table tonight and everyone laughed and my husband peered over and said.. "I don't hate him...I don't have any feelings about him one way or the other.....
As you can see......my husband does have a stellium in LEO...ROFL..........

Thanks everyone for your well wishes! I have been avoiding Mr. Kiss Kiss Monster... I can only handle one marriage and one smoldery, unrequited bond at a time. LOL.. There is no way this guy is anything but unnecessary trouble -- dashing charmer with wild out of control children, a couple of marriages under his belt and a mile a minute conversation.. I smell unteethered libra man all the way........ I have been focusing on my work, freelance writing (my real career for 15 years) and the children. Summer is swiftly approaching....I need to get my game face on..............

Happy belated birthday, Blue. I'm worried about moon and saturn conjunct in my 7th in new SR. Yucky! I am not very highly evolved and saturn always beats me up. Cheers!
