On another site, someone said that Transpluto is "h48" on astro.com. When I added it to my birthchart, it came up "Isis". Are they the same? If not, how is Isis to be interpreted, and how can we determine the position of so-called Transpluto? Thanks

Good question Moondance7! h48 Trans-pluto is not the same as asteroid 42 Isis. Transpluto is a hypothetical body or point, Isis is a 'real' asteroid orbiting the 'Main Belt' between Venus and Jupiter. She was discovered May 23, 1856 (My birthday! --not year-- ) On Astro.com, they are not the same wither but the they call h48 "isis-transpluto" and 42Isis, " Isis". Plot them both and spot the difference. Here is a link to start you on the exploration to "Isis-transpluto" and how the hypothetical planet is mapped. ephemeral.info/trp/And here is an excerpt I wrote recently on Eros and Isis to give you an introduction to what Asteroid 42 Isis might mean in the chart: Praise IsIs . . . whose mighty wings bring breath Honor Her . . . with the gift of attention Celebrate IsIs . . . with your life and spirit Remember Her . . . In all things Draw IsIs . . . into the world with each breath Call Her . . . in song and flourish ~ Hail IsIs Eternal Queen ~ The union of these two deities (Eros & Isis) may bring powerful results both internal and external. Here we have two divine aspects of love and magic. The daughter of Geb, sister to Osiris and Seth, Isis is the embodiment of love and the power of nature. Osiris was the consort to queen Isis. When his jealous brother Seth slew the him and dropped his body into the Nile, Isis made love to her resurrected husband and gave birth to Horus. The themes around Osiris and Isis are those of death, resurrection and love, not unlike Dionysus and Christ and the Magdalene. With Eros in conjunction to Isis, there can be a reunion with 'divine love', a feeling of any of the thematic images of Osiris and Isis: love, union, separation, dismemberment, longing, searching, and creative outcomes (Horus). The whole article is here: www.falconastrology.com/erosge06.htmlYou can find much info about other asteroids on my "Eros Transit Archives" www.falconastrology.com/archives.htmlSo, on astro.com, type 42 for asteroid Isis, and typ h48 for transpluto. Thanks for the question. Who can comment about either of these bodies? Warm wishes, Kim
