To Kim Falconer,
Thank you for the Eros report. I received it last Tuesday but only just had the chance to read it. My Mars conjunct Eros and Uranus conjunct Eros is so contradictory and something I can relate to. I have been quite blunt and assertive with my desires yet wished to escape and run shortly afterwards. I thought I was crazy, but this explains why. Thank you so much.
(in case you remeber my order, my name is Darrell Boag in the United Kingdom)
Anyway, I was wondering whether somebody could tell me what the other three asteroids in my natal chart wheel that was included in the Eros report means and how to discover their meaning in the signs. They are Sappho, Verte and Psyche.

Hello Pryce, I do remember! And I appologise for any confusion with the included asteroids. I use 80 Sappho and 16 Psyche in my Eros reports. You can read all about them on threads there in the forum, but I will include little blurbs here. The Verte is 'short' for Vertex. (Often seen as Vtx.) That is not an asteroid but a point in the chart not unlike the Ascendant. For a fuller understanding of it's meaning--See my vertex article on my seb site. www.nrg.com.au/~d-falcon/News.htm#vertumIn brief: The VERTEX: The vertex is a theoretical point in the heavens where the ecliptic-the apparent orbit of the Sun around the earth-crosses the prime vertical-the plane that runs at right angles to the meridian and divides the celestial sphere from front to back. The word vertex comes from the Latin root word vertere, meaning to change, to turn, turn frequently or spin. It also can mean a crowning point, summit, top or crest. Words having this Latin root include vertebrae, (joint, having something to turn on) vertigo (dizzy, disoriented, spun out) vertical (from top to bottom) versatile (doing many things at once, to turn from one thing to another) and verticil (a circular arrangement around a fixed point, a whorl). The common theme here highlights change or movement, from one point to another, where the center remains fixed or the same. The vertex appears as a sensitive point linked to fateful encounters with others, seemingly sudden epiphanies, turning points in life and a destiny over which we have no apparent control. Activated, it can synchronize with an experience of another whose effect registers as some degree of profound or extraordinary. 16 PSYCHE: Psyche represents a refined love, an urge to develop psychic bonds with another. There is a longing and searching quality in Psyche that vacillates between determined progress and hopeless surrender. Both extreme states seem requisite to the process of Psyche’s quest. She knows what she wants, searches for it selflessly, then finds herself faced with a seemingly impossible task. She may give up, at this point, in despair, only to find that by surrendering, support appears as if by magic. 80 SAPPHO: This is a sensual and lyrical asteroid that may express through song, music, fine dinning, poetry, play, sensual touch, aroma therapy, pleasure and erotic sex. Desire for union augments, as do creative drive and vitality! The view of the world can become extraordinary when Sappho is activated, more intoxicating. We see things 'more than' the standard three dimensional view. Sappho softens, refines and acts like a poetic muses. Creative expression can soar. It can make desires extremely sexual. What is felt MUST be expressed! Would anyone like to add anything here? Warmly, Kim

Hello there, Kim & everyone on the forum. Kim, reading these last paragraphs of yours on this thread has given a lot of extra, deeper meaning to your recent fabulous reading you did for me.Thank you!!! Its taken me awhile to digest it all, (the reading!) & the ensuing layers that kept going.!!Im trying not to hold my breath & to stay calm!!! wow, Yet, It seems hard to believe that all this could possibly happen. Its true Ive been working on my process, yet, romantically I havent had even a whisper of the impending change!! It will have to happen via the vertex point!!(LOL) So much more to say but thanks for this explanation. Ive just come back to the forum after a busy break. I did wonder if I should add details to Amorosos thread; yet it all seemed so long ago (time wise!) Its more that it will be arriving soon & Im observing But so far not much to report. More later XX regards to everyone, such a warm soul-ful site!! XX

Thanks Isabella, for your comments and feedback.
It does take time to digest! (readings) and it can be difficult to imagine HOW something seemingly so foreign (at this point in time) can move into the life. I think that's the key—IMAGINE—we need to start there.
Warmly, Kim

So, I guess by reading all of this, that Psyche is a soulful, spiritually refined love and Venus is more of a physical, sensual love. Which one we prefer has to do with the level we are on in our own lives and what we value, either the physical or the spiritual.

Personally, I prefer both. No, actually, I REQUIRE both. Nothing less with do. Warmest regards, Aphrodite P.S. Welcome to the board!

I have Psyche rising and can really identify with this try try try and give up exhausted and despairing and then poof!!!! it all comes good But not before the total surrender to whatever you feel you can surrender to I do to an archangel I like and not lightly or often
