Sorry about that.. www.theoi.com/Kronos/Kharites.html#EuphrosyneShe is the first one of the "Three Graces" who were mythologically said to follow Aprhodite around.. I place EUPHROSYNE as one of the most interesting points in the charts I've been studying..(in so many of them Euphrosyne (from which the word.. Euphoria comes from) almost all of my composites have it conjunct by most of the time less than one degree.. with the asteroid "LUST" (also a very interesting point) where I am personally involved.. and it was quite unexpected. I learned that The Euphoria (the feeling in the heart) is one of the first signs the ancients used to discribe.. when feeling "In Love".. the other things like " good cheer and youthful beauty" belonged to the realm of Thalia (also the Muse of Comedy called the "Blooming one" she giggles.. and is the outward sign something is going on... and then finally Aglaia "the shining one" the relevance is seen in many quotes on just the one myth site.. but of course there are many others. “Hear now my prayer, you Kharites three ... Euphrosyne, lover of song, and Aglaia revered, daughters of Zeus the all-highest, hearken, and with Thalia, darling of harmony, look on our songs of revel, on light feet stepping to grace this happy hour.” –Pindar Olympian 14 str1-str2
Naturally with the linked site.. the quotes can be not only conflicting but contradictory.. but it shows a direct link to that kind of "history" within the myth. since there are only 10 extra spaces for asteroids on www.astro.com on the extended charts section.. I use a variety.. this was an example I called "Kim's romantic asteroids" with (16) Psyche(433) Eros and (80) Sappho.. Cupido, Adonis, Pan, Aphrodite, Amor, and Antares. (lost the order) 16 80 433 763 1221 1388 1943 2101 4450 plus 31 (Eurphosyne) (see the Three Graces) thread for the numbers of the others) (and the "Lust thread" for that information about it) In all I guess I select Eurphosyne as the one to fill the empty space there because its that particular Euphoria I have come to understand which I feel drives most of the people I know.. and myself into the attractive trap of the lure of romance.. it is a powerful and attractive feeling that doesn't need "appearances" but follows the heart. there are of course others that can give you that kind of "vibe" such as Sappho (80) and even Erato (62).. but this more than likely leads the heart to express its feeling into words or a song.. where as the Euphoria.. is more ellusive to understand.. (I like a good mystery anyway) I hope that this has been usefull information for you. Sorry if my asteroids are kind of confusing.. Take care, svenskasfinx

Hi Svenskasfinx,
Thanks for this wonderful work, though primitive, on Euphrosyne. Me and my wife have tight contacts among personal planets to have a great relation. Also, we have opposites between Mars and Sun bothways. It is definitely not physical attraction but something else I wondered many a times because we never fought (you can use any word you like) in 18 years of married life. I always feel "being in love" though the desires of scropio Venus trouble me occassionally. I get an "intuitive feel" of her desires and fulfill the requirement. She never demands and I rate her very very high in every respect.
I found our Euphrodyne contra-parallel exactly. Her Venus, Sun conjunct falls on my moon, psyche, euphrodyne conjunct. GREAT. I got the answer now.

I glanced through this thread several times and glossed over it, but kept coming back to it, a sure sign that self-discovery (something we are all sorely lacking in....Ha) was around the corner.
These little asteroids continue to amaze.
Perhaps the strongest, and only "reality" for C and I is the psychic link. His Euphoria is conjunct his Draconic Psyche, and both are conjunct my natal Psyche.
THis is all in direction opposition to our composite Eros/Pars Fortuna (which is square Psyche in that composite) and remains opposed in the progressed composite.
In synastry, the Euphoria/Psyche thing is in direct opposition to our Juno (mine) Sun/Mars/DC (his) tight conjunction.
In his natal, my first AND last name asteroids are exactly semi-sextile to the Euphoria/Psyche thing, and in my natal, my last name is within 2 degrees conjunction to the same.
In Kris' words "I got the answer now!" Not that I needed an answer at this point. But it is so very interesting!
Eternally Gemini, Amoroso
