Dear Gemstar, OK....do you ever read these interpretations and sometimes it feels like they could apply to everyone? it doesn't surprise me at all that you feel like this! Yes I do agree with you - not just because these astrology 'cookbooks' are often 'open' and ambiguous in their styles (well, not just the books - I get Eric Francis' horoscopes every week and I most often feel like he's aiming for the least possible error margin by being as cryptic as possible) but also because when you've read and studied enough 'esoterica' - and done the work- after a while everything is resonating and you see the universality of ....just about everything... nothing is 'unique' to any individual anymore as you feel the connection to All... does that sound too Piscean?? lol The part of trusting my intuition rings true yet I feel this is a Universal thing and not unique to this prenatal eclipse point. Time teaches us to trust it.Yes, trusting intuition is something we that ought to be true for all of us... and yet we all know here how easy it is to live an entire life without being Conscious, let alone listening to inner Voices - but you have always had an innate knowledge of something 'else', some other way of being, which isn't entirely usual, even though it must surely be intended for all of us. I do believe that Soul always pushes us toward evolution, which means that everyone has some inner force which puts them in the way of destiny and growth - and yet so many people pass from this life to the next without ever having listened to those signals or awakened to their own Selves. Sometimes I imagine how Angels can love us silly humans so much - we're like little children lost in play and drama, oblivious only when we feel pain or extreme pleasure are we truly aware.... not everyone will learn this lesson. As I read your post I was thinking about your Pluto-Uranus conjunction and how very close that eclipse is to it... you could see through lead walls with that kind of vision, Gem - no wonder nothing gets by you! From a fellow Pluto in Virgo native, I know just what kind of crap-radar this conjunction can give a person ... I've got Pluto-Jupiter-SN-Uranus on the IC and opposite my prenatal Solar eclipse (actually that kinda puts it all right there doesn't it?) and can't help but think about the kind of 'reveal-all-break-it-down-and-build-it-better'' energy it has. I wish I could teleport the book to you so that you could read all of it for yourself - there is stuff in there about this lunar eclipse lesson to do with early family life which is too much to go into here. But, I'm sure you know what Virgo is all about - and the lunar eclipse lessons seem to synthesise the 'collective' energies of Pisces with a kind of karmic flavour. There is an element, as you mention, of Social responsibility and the environment - and with Taurus as your prenatal solar eclipse you'll have plenty of knowledge to pass on about how Earth needs us to be. When we have values that include love and respect for the Feminine, then we'll have values that look after Nature. ... I'm guessing you have ideas about that peace, pm

Beautiful response Prima!! I will have to look for that book as it sounds very interesting!!
You totally understood my thoughts about feeling that many of the interpretations begin to seem like crossovers with everyone. I was laughing at another part you wrote about weekly horoscopes being a broad as possible, yet revealing little to sink your teeth into! That is why I like to look at a transit chart and see for myself.....
With all of that concentration on your IC, your synopsis of your stellium was so descriptive! The Jupiter in there would make it seem so big I would think. With your prenatal eclipse shining on to this point, how do you use this eclipse energy??

Further musings....(I just loved reading your response-TRULY!!) When you touched on the point about there being people who never learn their lessons...OOooo....that is such a hot button with me. It is beyond my comprehension that so many are unconcious to 'seeing' and simply 'getting it'. How is that possible? How can someone walk through life thinking they have all the answers and the truth could not be farther away?? (Interesting note: BOTH of my parents think they are the highest evolved types and I should strive to be more like them...one is a Scorp with Leo ASC and the other is a Sag with Leo Moon). Now here are two people who 'get' intuition yet somehow miss the use of it in many ways...I guess people get it in stages or levels perhaps. Like some people are more advanced with their skill than others.....does this make sense? No doubt those angels flit about and try to protect us from ourselves at times!! Because people often choose to ignore their 'Selves', they wonder why they are stressed...unhappy...unfulfilled....whatever.... To not find value in 'connecting' with the people or things around you intuitively is such a tragedy. I had an ex-gal pal who was the most oblivious person I knew. She did not understand the concept of 'connection' with others and instead, would stay super self-involved continuously. She was unable to go beyond herself....though believed she was greatest person on earth. She didn't see a reason to sense the mood in a room or with another person....it was all about HER agenda. What SHE wanted from someone...what they could do for HER. It was not so apparent to me for a while because I excused the lack of understanding in her (Yes, we know not everyone gets it and we can't shut out every person!) but when she got divorced and then asked me to write a children's book on how 'children' could help their parents get through divorce, I said.....My, my...this gal is missing the boat Big-Time! Imagine.....her kids were 3 and 6 at the time. Good grief! Even her ex-husband told her she was too self-centered and simply needed to learn to broaden her circle of attention (beyond herself). She didn't believe him!! Anyway....after many years, I let that person go from my life. Her sister picked up a friendship with me, though more willing to learn, and was similar too! The first girl was a Leo and her sister was a LOUD Aries with a Leo Moon. (The sister also had Saturn opposing Pluto, Uranus AND MARS conjunction!!) Again-too much of- Aren't I the greatest syndrome. Not all Leos are like that but the pushiness of an Aries with the Leoness need for adulation proved too much for my patience. The sister also recently divorced...and of course, it was all the guy's fault.....afterall, SHE was GREAT, who wouldn't want to be her?? Hee-hee.....pass. Helping people find an understanding and value to their senses (intuition) is such an interesting thing. I wish that everyone would strive to be honest and introspective with themselves.....and wake up in this life!! Why isn't it THAT easy? ooohhhh my lawd, I was reading your post and your description of your former friend thinking 'mmmm a LEO, must be a LEO... they shine so bright, and cast no shadow - although everything in the vicinity gets one!' (sorry to any leos on this forum - an evolved leo is a true treasure). Yes, I married a Leo, who's father was a leo, MY father is a leo, I had a Leo 'best friend' (in other words - I was the friend, she was the best) and My mother is an Aries with Leo rising.... my whole life has prepared me for this moment lol. (my eldest daughter has sun at 1 cancer and moon at 1 leo - the mutual reception seems to work with her though) Well Gem.... ****basking in gold dust and admiring the work of magic intuition wand action**** No matter which way you look at it.. the unevolved Ego is a powerful thing - sometimes even Soul can't break through it. Better to just watch with compassion, make like an angel and love them anyway... from a distance. Thats funny though - kids supporting their parents through divorce! Outrageous... little ones do give us joy, but we don't lean on them for it. I'm so glad you enjoyed my response... I'm going through this career confusion and the boost/compliment is very much appreciated.. I've nearly finished my website and tonight I made some contacts which will lead me to paid work - writing! I'm thinking that maybe we should look at the charts for the eclipses - and view them as 'events' that have impacted via 'imprinting' upon our unborn psyches. What do you think? joy! pm

Hey Prima-Congrats on near completion of your web-site!! That is a grand feat! I have true appreciation of this accomplishment (Kim's FAB comprehensive site etc.....) because it takes a lot of detail and thought to create one! My brother is helping me with one as well...though when he feels 'moved' to do so....ha,ha. (Perhaps completed the twelth day of Never!) I can be REALLY excited for you on that one!! Awesome that you made some good contacts for your "writing' career. Go for it! The Universe is leading you to indulge in a special gift you are meant to use. Making money using your gift is a great way to earn a living....and just keep in mind that patience is required of yourself as this ramps up. You will make it happen as you persevere through this time.....Believe in your success and watch it unveil! More than once I have believed in my vision and beyond all craziness of thought-SUCCESS! (Well, at least more often than not!! Ha,ha...) Good Luck-you WILL do it!! The career thing seems to be in the air....my tr Nep sq Nep(1st h) is EXACT..within mere minutes of conj my IC/MC axis.....oh brother. Talk about confusion and lack of ground under my toes....not sure what I am going towards....something BIG....yet the answer has not come forth. Little glimpses here and there but I am trying to be 'Quiet' so I can hear. Hmm.....all I can hear at the moment is the quietness of much needed rain falling, the churn of the washing machine in the background.....the wind blowing gently on the palm fronds ('Palm Tree branches and leaves' to the uninitiated)...and the music of Putumayo presents: 'Tea Lands' in the background....and of course, the keys being plucked on my Laptop here as I write a reply to you.......I think I will have a cup of hot tea..... So...you are a Leo Officianado!! I have come across a few really great sweethearts of Leos....those people were such wonderful givers....it puts the other self-centered lions to shame! The lower Leos are soooo obvious to sight. My ex-gal pal has been interesting to watch as she gave her sister NO support during her divorce....kind of a mean "Ha, now you know what I felt like!" attitude. Yeech. She was a mixture of 'Aren't I great and Why does everyone like YOU better than ME?' attitude! Ha-Ha-Ha.....( singing) Me,me,me....MEEEEEE!!!!!!!! ;D Ok...back to prenatal eclipses. Hope everyone doesn't mind our wanderings off the path of the topic. When I look at our different eclipses, yes, 'events' would seem descriptive, even though often times- there is NO event. Nada. Zip. Zilcho. And then I am left wondering if the Universe skipped over me at that moment in time. Kinda like-"Hey, I don't mind a push....I want to swing higher!" So I liked your idea of 'imprinting ' on our unborn psyches for this prenatal eclipse concept. Hmmm.....makes reasonable sense. So.....the bigger Question---IS the energy TRULY present, even if we are not born yet? Astrology seems to believe that in general, nothing begins until we are officially out of the warm womb. You know, toes tickled to coax us into letting out a Yelp and making our presence known. What does the book say about that? Hugs- GemStar

hi Gemstar...
So.....the bigger Question---IS the energy TRULY present, even if we are not born yet? Astrology seems to believe that in general, nothing begins until we are officially out of the warm womb. You know, toes tickled to coax us into letting out a Yelp and making our presence known. What does the book say about that?
A lot of astrologers would like to be able to cast charts for conception - they feel so strongly about the incarnation of the human soul. There are many who believe, from Plato and Aristotle, that we are born with a character that predates our birth - when we are still 'spirit'. Its a huge concept, is often illustrated with the metaphor of an acorn - a seed containing all the information needed to grow a huge oak tree, a seed which had its origins in an oak tree... the question remains - what environmental factors will impact on that acorn that will sway it from one path or destiny on to another? Maybe none. Maybe everything from lack of sunlight to having never landed in fertile soil, or having sufficient water. The information still remains in the acorn, but is never accessed.
Hmm, the natal chart is a snapshot of the heavens at birth - but a person is alive before that. I guess the birth is a 'definite event' that can be recorded. A prenatal eclipse is also a definite event, but not especially unique to any one person.... but...
I felt the personalities of my children before they were born, they were definitely little people in there that I recognised in the moment I first saw them... In Africa they say 'the heart sees the child before the eye' - something about this means that as a parent I can subscribe to the idea that prenatal energies can make an imprint upon a child's character.
Also, alchemy teaches that everything on this planet evolved via the influences of the cosmos - the rays of the sun and the merging of energies from the planets in all the combinations that are possible.... the heavens made us in their image!
I'll have a look again at the book and come back to you on what it prescribes for this question.
joy! pm

Hi Prima....Great acorn metaphor! I too agree that a 'Soul' is present with all the potential possible prior to the event of birth. I just wondered what the book said as it was specifically about 'prenatal' happenings.....thanks for checking!!

Hi Gemstar I had a quick read through about how the prenatal influence works... I won't copy out reams of it here as my head is aching and I have a lot of writing to do today.. but the gist of it is that the birth chart is the destiny we 'chose' for ourselves (our 'acorn' or 'contract') and the prenatal eclipse is an external influence/imprint through which will filter our 'choices' in life. Its the Universe's idea of how we should live the life we've chosen. Does that make sense? Oh, too much mercury...or something? I woke up this morning with an overwhelming urge to honour Neptune by taking Kelp tablets. STrange! pm

Hello Mermaid Prima.....Kelp?? Ha,ha....speaking of strange, my last piano lesson will be next week as my Neptune sq Neptune transit is exact....just before Neptune goes retrograde....how Neptunian... Anyway, I understand the meaning of prenatal eclipse and it's influence. Very cool! OH...whenever you get a few extra moments, please post a blurb on the solar eclipse (I think) in Taurus....I would greatly appreciate it-no rush though!! Write on!! Hugs- GemStar

Hey Prima...no worries!! Do you what need to do and get those projects going!! Writing takes a certain amount (OK, a LOT) of time to complete to your satisfaction...unless you are one of those rare people whose words tumble out perfectly ordered and arranaged the first write-through!! So....take your time with the Taurus info.......I will be around!! Hugs- GemStar

dear Gem thanks for being so patient and understanding.... here is the Taurus solar eclipse speil... it says first up that 'in order to fully activate the solar energy of Taurus, you first must integrate the lessons of the Taurus lunar eclipse with your emotional body' - now thats about three days typing - but if you read Taurus and Scorpio in any good astro book you just about have it! I'll do what I can here:
"through you, your fellow beings can learn a proper prosperity consciousness. You have incarnate with a very solid sense of moral, financial, and spiritual values, and have a tendency to draw to you people who need to have their value systems realigned. Attracted to you are those having financial difficulties who need to learn to handle their resources properly and to build solid financial foundations. You understand intuitively that you can climb high only if you have a firm foundation to support you This is why you can teach those around you how to make sure that every brick has been laid securely and mortared in before they take the next step. If you choose not to share your knowledge and refuse to teach the basic economic structure that you understand so well, you may experience the negative repercussions within your own family. You may be exposed to a wife, husband, son, daughter, father or mother who has severe financial difficulties. Or you or someone close to you may have to experience personal bankruptcy. You are only responsible to teach this lesson through your own example. If you choose to take it a step further, hewer, and actually assist others with your financial understanding, you are sharing yourself bey one the call of duty, which will lead to your own lessens being eased in some areas'
sorry, I have to stop there because I don't agree with this!! Seems to me more a lesson in 'scarcity' thinking than prosperity consciousness! This finances aspect of Taurus is 'exoteric' - there is so much more to Taurus... and this excerpt was written in 1988.
I have ideas of my own about scarcity/abundance and their archetypal origins - but let me ask you - what do you think about this?? What do you think is key to Taurus/Scorpio??
Or does that above make sense to you?
blessings, pm

Ha,ha....if I had the time.... in the late 1990s, I used to be a Financial Advisor....for several years until I became very ill with a spinal tumor and had to leave my career to fully recuperate from a very traumatic time! My father was a Financial Advisor, so I learned, ad nauseum, about Finances since a wee age! Soooooo many people come to me to help them figure out their finances. Pre-divorce, post-divorce, general debt issues....savings...investing....you name it! More people have shared (confidentially) with me than I can possibly count! How uncanny is that? I have had friends' parents talk with me and discuss very personal finances....and people tend to trust me from the get-go. Most folks seem to listen and somehow are comfortable in trusting what I have to say! And definitely, I feel it is my duty to share what I know to help the many others who want to learn more about money issues!! So yes, I am always willing to share my knowledge and understanding of money. What I financially have now is what I have earned on my own....college paid for by yours truly and worked up to three jobs at a time and took out school loans. Naturally, my father made sure that none of my brothers had to get a school loan. (Let's not get me started again!) Thanks for taking the time to write this up! I appreciate it very much Prima!! And I will take a look at the lessons for Scorpio and Taurus....Scorp is pretty well covered as it is my ASC...and Taurus is an area I can read up on further (lesson-wise). So far, delicious food, lush surroundings and good loving are the lessons I know of...and they work just fine thank you!! Ha, ha....let's see what more I can dig up!! (Be less stubborn?? Ha,ha....)
