Okay...I have Jupiter 28 Sag. opposing my Sun/Venus conjunct at 26 Gemini. GC Grand Trine Moon/Mars and Pluto/Vertex. This is the beginning of the most transformational time in my life. I know nothing of the GC but I am certainly going to learn as it seems to be a pivitol point in my chart. I am grateful for the info!

I think Pluto is like JRR Tolkien's wizards...powerful, subtle and quick to anger, especially when Mars opposes this point on the 6-7th. Any repressed material in the houses where 26 Gem-Sag resides could blast up through the floor boards, giving us the next 6 months or so to 'chew on it'.
Pluto rules the unconscious, that which is unknowable by the mind-what we think and what we think we think. The messages from Pluto are obscured (he wore a helmet of invisibility when he walked in the light of day!)
The only way to converse with Pluto is to go down into his realm or perhaps sit beside a deep dark well and toss flower pedals onto the smooth surface. If you do, however, he will rise up and he will take you on a journey you will never forget!
Do we have a choice with Pluto?
No.
I think not.

Yeah, I definitely noticed Pluto, Jade -- he's stationing opposite my 27Gem Venus.
Just yesterday I was just thinking about the impending Mars/Pluto opposition... so much is being written about the explosive anger side of that contact, but I think I usually experience their coming together as giving me a *tremendous* amount of energy to make sudden radical shifts in my life. For example, with this opposition, Mars is in my 9th & Pluto's in my 3rd, and I'm working very hard to complete the 1st draft of a health/food book so I can start sharing it & giving lectures & demos on the subject. I wouldn't be surprised if during the next week I really make enormous progress with it.
I also noticed, however, that when the opposition is exact, Mars will also be conjunct my Venus, and Venus will be squaring my Mars & trining my NN, along with the Pluto opp Venus... some relationship business clear will be in the mix. And I've been feeling that for some time. So many sudden sharp decisions borne of new profound insights! Such a dynamic time...
I love Pluto...

Wow, jade... you've been having such intense dreams lately, and you describe them so well, in such detail! I am impressed, as well as with the clarity of understanding you have gleaned from this one. Beautiful. You may not have written that process-letter, but you got your process none-the-less! I wonder if, as Pluto's energy intensifies over Mars the next couple days, if more will come to you. There's so much energy flying around, I think also from being over the G.C. I can feel it so much every day, myself. That energy sure can be unwieldy at times. But I love it all the same. Did the dream point you in the direction of any further action re your sis??? sam

Hi. All my outer planets plus Jupiter trine and sextile the GC, so I've been interested in the GC for a while now. Other than the links already mentioned, this is what I've come up with so far.
I think the Sabian Symbol for the GC is interesting:
"Sagittarius 27, The Sculptor:
This is a symbol of creative ability as the manifestation of self-consciousness in its maturity of realization, dramatized by an irresistable desire to endow all life with some enduring potentiality. Here are the enlarged horizons which follow form from an individual's mastery of his own particular talents, and from the expanded vision which he must develop and share with his fellows if he is to possess it for himself. He is able to idealize nature because he has brought her to subjugation. The keyword is immortilization. When positive, the degree is exceptional self-expression through a gift for building all experience into a personal fulfillment, and when negative, callous impersonality and overambitious pretentions."
Important Dates:
On Dec 18 this year the Sun and Pluto will cj the GC, and close to that time will trine tr Saturn, which will retro. Jupiter, Mars and Mercury will all be in Sagittarius as well.
On Dec 12, '07, Jupiter will be at 28Sag24 and Pluto at 28Sag26, which will trine Regulus.
Events related to Pluto cj the GC:
1) This is and isn't related to astrology. I don't know if anyone would be interested in this, but someone might, so I'll mention it. I learned of someone, Shelley Yates, who had an NDE and was told by her guides to organize a world-wide meditation to be held on July 17, 2007, at 11:11 GMT, with the intention of healing the world. Isn't that cool! She's calling it Fire the Grid, and that's the name of her Web site. Pluto will be retro, but exactly cj the GC at 26Sag57 then. What a coincidence! At the time she started to organize this event, she didn't know anything about astrology. Now she knows about the GC and Pluto because I told a friend of hers about it, and the friend told her. Now it's turning into a big event. Last December she was on Coast to Coast with George Noory, and Doreen Virtue became involved shortly after that.
2) Some of the interesting things that I've noticed that I attribute to Pluto cj the GC are the spaceports popping up here and there. You've probably heard that Richard Branson and the State of NM are building one in Southern NM called Virgin Galactic. They'll be sending private individuals into space for 2 hrs for $200,000 each. There is a long list of people around the world who have put down deposits and are anxiously awaiting their trip into space.
3) Interesting that the DaVinci Code movie came out when it did with Pluto retro cj the GC. Everyone was talking about the Priory of Scion and the Lost Gospels of Judas in May.
4) Also interesting that the new group of planets, the Plutons, are being considered while Pluto cj's the GC.
The price of precious metals escalating is also related to Pluto cj the GC, as precious metals are ruled by the GC. I've read this in articles written by financial astrologers.
Eileen Nauman has some articles on her site Medicine Garden relating to Pluto cj the GC, her eclipse articles from March. I take them with a grain of salt, but she provides a lot of information. She sees Pluto cj the GC and its aspects to our planets as an initiation of sorts.
The trine I'm getting from H1 tr Pluto to my H8 natal Jupiter, I've felt this energy in the real world as being a government official helped me get started in my career when I relocated. He was a stranger and made some calls for me so that I could stay in my profession here without having to go back to school and take a state test ;D This happened in March at the time of the eclipses, which tr Pluto was stimulated then.
On Sep 4th Pluto will be going direct again, right around the corner.

This should be quite a year for me. Pluto is stationing and moving forward on my birthday and at the solstice of my Mars, no less. They're both in my 5th. But the GC is the degree of my progressed IC with Capricorn (natal Mars) intercepted. Hmmm The GC is the cusp of my SR 11th but since I just got fired I don't think I'll get a raise. Right now I have 0 income.

I have Jupiter at 24.40 Sag, opposition Mars at 26 Gem conjunct moon at 28.33 Gem (square Sun in Virgo).
Pluto has been transiting a long time on my Jupiter. My life's a complete mess, that's all I can say.

Wow, both Pluto and the Solar eclipse at the same time. Let's see. Mutable and Cardinal energies born to be flexible and adaptable, specializing in the ability to change what isn't working. Then along comes Pluto from the rhelm of fixed change wearing the priestly robe of philisophical change. Pluto in Sagittarius is sort of like combining the core of the earth with heaven or maybe even combining heaven and hell. Maybe his purpose could be realizing hell is a creation to explain the painful process of evolution or that organized religion uses hell to scare us into submission and offer emotional security in exchange. Or what about the push saying primary education and life experience isn't sufficient, a degree is necessary? I wonder what Pluto has to say about that one.

My life's a complete mess, that's all I can say. Hi, charmvirgo. I hear you! I know I'll never forget my Pluto transits. H12 tr Jupiter/Pluto sq na H8 Jupiter/Pluto was a doozy for me as was Pluto cj my Sag NNode, Pluto cj my Sag Asc. I'm very familiar with Pluto+Jupiter energy, which now I'm enjoying the trine. Jupiter cj Pluto is a very nice transit. Lots of us Pluto in Leos are getting the tr Saturn cj Pluto and tr Neptune opp Pluto. I'll trade you for your tr Pluto opp Mars Throw a party when Pluto leaves your Jupiter for good. Tr Pluto squaring the March eclipse and the one today makes it an extra difficult transit when it aspects your natal planets harshly. Conjunctions can be either really nice or not anyway. As far as the GC goes, with points you're supposed to use very tight orbs, you know, just a few degrees. Some will say just 1 degree. I do see that your Mars is in a tight opp to the GC. It really depends which houses your planets are in. I had tr Pluto opp tr Mars in my H1/7 and had a big fight with my b/f, but we made up. With Pluto/Mars, if you do have a fight with someone and you get through it, if you make up you can become closer than ever! That's the thing with Pluto and its intensity. Oppositions will involve another person and a power struggle which requires some negotiation, a meeting in the middle, balance, learning to fight fairly, learning to stand up for yourself. Those are very good things to learn in life and will serve you well. If you want to know an interpretation for natal Mars opp the GC, I'd have to have your birth info. You can PM me if you want it or post it here. Tr Pluto will bring a transformation to the natal placements. Mine have been tough too, but in hindsight I can see they brought necessary growth that seemed very karmic to me, something I had to experience for some reason, no choice on my part. Pluto + nodes is very karmic or Pluto + Vertex. AqMoon

I have MC at 28 sag forming a T-square with
Moon 28, Jupiter & vertex 26, pluto 22 in virgo & uranus at 0 libra 7th house
NN 29 in 1st and asc at 25 pisces.
Mercury inconjuncts at 27 taurus in 2nd (opp ruler neptune 27 scorpio in 8th) and saturn trines at 29 aries in 1st.
Pluto's transit has been very intense for me so far with a significant relationship ending meaning finding a new home & a job that supports me financially. With everything coming to an end, i know a new journey beckons and am just waiting on the traffic lights to change and the signs to show me the new road.
Like Samina, from a young age i've felt a kind of spiritual twang and been unable to share with others around me or even myself at times but which will find me if i dont look for it. I've often longed to be 'normal' and resist these intrusions in my psyche, but kept getting drawn either by certain people appearing in my life with these qualities, events that made me question or little coincidences that i couldn't deny the meaning of. Astrology came to me early (roughly when uranus entered my 8th..)and has helped me greatly understand these forces within me(and why i sometimes try to deny them through fear people would think i'm nuts!).
Pluto is ultimately helping me find a balance, connecting the one who wants to fly and can see the light with the one who's terrified of doing so (as an example whenever i have a lucid dream i sh@t my pants and quickly make myself come back to earth but then regret not seeing where it would have taken me - 'fear of flying' was written for me!) and i do feel lately that i am starting to feel a sort of coming together within myself but know that there's still a fair way to go-pluto aint done with me yet!
Feel abit like Persephone at the moment, where i'm only permitted 'light' for so long before i must revisit the underworld but i know there's a purpose because there always is and eventually i'll be able to look back and see what it was all for. However with Uranus & then Neptune starting to head for my ascendent, i think i've got a few more journeys/awakenings to look forward to. I think we all have and there certainly seems to be some kind of awakening within the human psyche right now and as its pluto it's not always pleasant (war/political/environmental crimes anyone?) and alot needs to be changed both within & without ourselves before any kind of balance is restored on this planet.
If those of us with contacts with the GC point are the 'mouth pieces' for these energies then i think it's time for me to face my fears and start making the journey back towards the 'light' so that i can help others should they need it. (Anyone ever get the 11.11's? If so what do you think it means..the skeptic in me resists the idea of angels/aliens..). I've never been able to meditate (too impatient) but maybe it's time i tried as pluto's intensity increases.
Yesterdays new moon i think has planted a seed..

lovecat, that's a very powerful post, and you've got some very powerful energy emerging in your chart with pluto beginning its approach to your MC. (and yes, I've gotten those 11:11s for years, but 11:22s come up a lot more often, almost every day. just seems in general like synchronicity to me, an experience of being in flow with a certain "vibe" or frequency). I like how you described Pluto helping to give you balance right now, givine you courage to visit the underworld for a bit, and then back into the light. Very transformational. I look forward to hearing more -- I understand that back-and-forth growth movement of the psyche. Going upwards, it always seems to spiral, so even when you feel like you're going backwards into the darkness, you're still going upward! My venus is at 27Gem31, so Pluto will be opposing it shortly. It's back-and-forth opposition of my 23Gemini Mercury over the past few years has completely transformed my outlook on many things and has given me a much broader world-view and shifted beliefs, and a lot of courage to look under society's rocks to face the ugliest, darkest truths of what is on the planet. I mean, frankly, I have a very strong Plutonian vein in my chart, so it's already in my nature to got for that and look at it and process it emotionally, but this was even more than that -- more informational, very much a study of the zeitgeist and what's going on in the world scene, something I'd never done before because I'd been so busy dealing with a complex personal life. I imagine a number of interpretations for Pluto crossing the GC and my Venus at the same time, but that's such a complex web of energy, I'll wait til I'm immersed in it to discern what comes up. Things sure are intensifying on the world scene, tho. There's going to be a lot coming out this winter -- I bet a lot of people will begin to start shifting & questioning & seeing in ways that are entirely new for them. How exciting that will be! I already see it happening, and it is most encouraging! Samina

I'm doing a Pluto trine Pluto, transiting in my 5th. Since going direct my oldest son got a wonderful job in Boston and just called last night to say they pay 100% (50% books) for further education so he will be able to get a masters. The GC seems to be attracting good things to at least one of my 5th house creations. I wish it did for the others. Pluto is transiting the 9th house poisition of my 3rd son but he seems to be doing the 9th house in court, it looks like he's getting a divorce.
I just realized, at 26 degrees he will be in a waxing inconjunct to my natal Uranus, final aspect of my Scorpio Moon before void. This aught to be interesting. So far it seems to be playing out for my son through his wife and her attitude about joint resources. I see my son playing out his dad's attitude with his wife acting out the fantasy my ex would like to create about me, that he gave everyting and I contributed nothing through my taking care of home and children. My son even said if they have a child he still expects her to work and bring in money. I was horrified that he would take his babies mother away and dump it in daycare by choice. He is making really good money, more than I ever had to work with taking care of up to 7 people. Then his wife comes from a culture that historically devalues women, oh my.
She is working in a home applying behaviourial psychology with autistic children. Some of them get violent and she has been bruised several times in the struggles. That feels like Pluto inconjunct Uranus as the outbursts are sudden. It's wiered it would be coming from her 2nd instead of 10 or 6 (in my chart). But now that I think about it, the 7th is the 6th from the income house so it is the work environment of the income source. This would also describe her co-workers. She is having problems there because she graduated from WMU and I guess it is considered on of the top 2 in the country for her degree. There seems to be some resentment there so she has an uncomfortable work place.

Hello everyone! Wow, I haven't had the time to check into the forum for a very long time. Lots of interesting information and topics. In regard to the GC, my sun and venus are opposed within one degree and my Jupiter is conjunct. Pluto and Moon/Mars are trine. I will certainly have to look deeper into this. I have a lot of contacts. Oops. I just noticed I posted a while back on this topic. How funny! I must be losing brain cells. Maybe its the effects of the GC
