Hi I am desperately trying to find an old photograph and would like some assistance if possible.I can stand to lose many different things but photographs are very precious to me.This one is a black and white of me sitting in a park,it is from my high school photography class.I had it stored in a box of books,in between two books. It was near some boxes of miscellaneous stuff, mostly papers and books, that I had never unpacked from a move.It is in the back room of the house,in a room that was added to the house and is not really used for anything, mainly for storage. It had been in that spot for years and as far as I know I did not move it anywhere else.Every now and then I would take it out and have a look at it and then I would just put it right back. All the other things in the box are there, this one photograph just seems to have disappeared.I would like to know if it is still in this room or perhaps it is in another room. This room is right next to the kitchen.Another possibility is that my roommate may have done something with it. I don't have many photographs of myself from that era so would love to find it.All other photos and books in that room are in their place, only this one black and white portrait is missing. I drew up the chart on May 2 1:30 am PDT in Tiburon CA I don't know how to post a chart--

I give it at least 50/50 that you eventually find it where it is supposed to be or near it. However, I think it will be in poor condition when it is found. My fear is that it has stuck to something in the way that old photos do, with a sticky sort of melted condition that will not allow you to pull it away without damaging it. I don't have time to finish reading this chart, so I can't tell you if it is high or low, east or west or to describe the area for you. Perhaps someone else will jump in here and finish and also to validate my reading thus far. Mercury is retrograde, after all! MY Logic: - Moon applying (it will be found) in opposition (bad condition) to 2nd house rulers, Jupiter and Neptune. All three intercepted (stuck) in 1st/7th house. Jupiter and Neptune are applying to a trine aspect to the Part of Fortune. Unfortunately, Neptune is also contraparallel.
- Venus the 4th house ruler (the ground on which it lays) in 2nd (where it is supposed to be) in Aries (hot or perhaps a destructive location/situation - reinforced by the conjunction and parallel to Mars in Aries).
- Uranus, the ruler of the 1st house interception, is in the 2nd applying to a semi-sextile to Jupiter, but is also contraparallel Venus and Mars.
- Saturn (representing You) is in the 8th (deductive) and the only applying aspect is a trine to the Sun (also you, but with Leo in the 7th house, perhaps on behalf of an other) in the 3rd (thinking).
- Saturn rules both the Ascendant and co-rules the 1st house interception.
- Sun rules the 7th house interception and the sign of the Moon.
- The degree on the Ascendant is late, but not too late for it to be found.
- Capricorn on the Ascendant could simply be a confirmation of the photos already advanced age or it could mean that it might take a long time to find it or both.
I don't always use the Arabic parts because they don't often make sense to me. However, consider the following... - The Moon is conjunct the Arabic parts of (ASC + Mars - Saturn) accidents, upsets, defects and also, necessity and wish.
- Venus is conjunct the Arabic part of (ASC + Fortune - Neptune) imprisonment, sorrow and captivity.
- Also, Jupiter and Neptune are conjunct a bewildering array of Arabic parts, all of which seem relevant to some aspect of the situation. I'm not going to list them because I am short of time and it would be redundant.
**** If your roommate had it (and I am not certain of this, but Moon is in 7th house), he/she most likely took it to use in a project or gave it to someone else for that purpose. It may have gotten damaged then or after it was returned (destructive Mars in Aries ruling the 4th house or the "end of the matter" for the other party or your 10th house of destiny). This greatly complicates the situation and may mean that you never recover the original (Pluto, modern ruler of Scorpio on your 10th house is in your 12th house of confusion, deception and outright lies). Sun, Moon and Saturn are peregrine (wandering aimlessly beyond the borders). Still, maybe you will get extremely lucky and discover there was a copy made (or maybe not - Pluto might freeze over first)! I am out of time! Can someone please jump in here to validate this reading, thus far, and look up the directions/descriptions of the photo location?

Hi Hodad, Welcome to the forum. First of all, here is our forum resource for 'how to post a chart': erosastrology.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Intro&action=display&thread=612Give it a go next time and you can always ask for help if you get stuck. Also, with horary it helps to state your clear intention or question: Where is the missing photograph? or What happened to the missing photograph? See how these can give very different answers? Aphrodite gave you an extensive horary reading. Thank you, Beautiful! If the question was Where? I would go with: 1. Chart is radical and fit to read. (Moon not VOC, Asc between 3 and 27 degrees. 2. Moon & 2nd house rulers are angular--it is in the home or the place where you worked with it last. 3. It will be found (ruler of 2nd angular and Venus (natural 2nd) in the 2nd. 4. The ruler of the 2nd (both rulers) are intercepted meaning it is enclosed and not out in the open, among other things. Towards the end of a sign means it has dropped behind something and must be looked for. Directions: We look to where the significator is (the ruler of the 2nd) in this case we are lucky as both traditional (Jupiter) and modern (Neptune) are in the same position. Direction by house: 1st says to look East--in the eastern room or eastern position. Direction by sign: Aquarius says to then look West by North. Air signs denote higher (not on floor) or upper levels. Please let us know is this leads you too it. My feeling is you'll find it right where it's meant to be, just stuck between pages or tucked behind other books or folders. Kim

Hi thanks for both your replies--they were very insightful and helpful.Despite the indications that the photo should be right in front of me,or at least near me,I have not been able to locate it! The forgetfulness of Neptune may have come into play--there was a big stack of papers on the kitchen table, which is in the adjacent room to where the photo was stored and I may have put it in there somewhere. At some point my roommate rearranged all those papers and may have accidentally thrown it out with some other papers it may have been mixed up in.Or another possibility is that I put in another room where more of my 'stuff' is stored, more miscellaneous books and papers. Or I could have put it somewhere else--just can not remember. The chart does indicate it is within the home still---

The chart indicates that it is in the home or where you usually have it (office, garage etc). In this case, it's the home. Do you have a compass? Go the the East room in the house and then look at the North/West quadrant. What room is that? According to the chart--if the question is 'Where' is the photo, it will be there. If the question was 'What happened' to the photo, then it is read in a different way.
Can you say what the question was?
