Hi everybody ! ;D A few months ago, I met an incredible girl... It was love at first sight ! We have such a powerful connection together... We both feel we are soulmates… What do you think of our synastry ? I try to figure out what’s going on between us... - My sun and rising sign : Leo - Her moon : Leo - Her sun : Sagittarius conjunct uranus - My moon : Aquarius We have an eros – psyche conjunction, explaining perhaps this feeling of being soulmates ?! Thank you very much for you help ! ;D Denebola PS : Sorry for the mistakes, english isn't my mother tongue.

Hi Denebola
I've noticed something I think is very important in your synastry - connections to the Vertex angle in both charts (I hope you've read Kim's great article on the Vertex on this site). What I see are two strong conjunctions to that angle - your Chiron/North Node on her Vertex, her Jupiter on yours. I can't see the degrees, but you also have the North Node close to her Vertex. That seems a strong fated connection to me, as if you have met each other for a purpose connected to your life direction.
Both the conjunctions seem to me to be about teaching - her Jupiter, particularly in Sagittarius, is about expansion, learning and exploring what faith means, travelling in the mind and physically travelling to other countries. Contacting your Vertex, this could mean that she has come into your life to help you to grow and to learn. With all those planets in Sagittarius, she seems to be an "eternal student", one who will never stop wanting to learn and to travel!
Chiron although known as the "wounded healer" was also a teacher, teaching others to heal themselves. With Chiron conjunct your North Node in Gemini, it would seem that part of your purpose in life is to communicate about healing. With the conjunction to her Vertex, this could be a strong focus in your relationship. I'm sure these conjunctions play a strong part in your both feeling that this is a "soulmate" relationship.

I'd like to take this thread in a slightly different direction. I've noticed that many of us share significant aspects, especially conjunctions, by synastry. Has anyone considered that we may be each other's "soul mates" or possibly "soul family" ? There's no way I can go back and comb through every post where I noticed a conjunction to one of my planets, so I'm just going to post my info sans asteroids (except for Eros, of course ) and invite others to do the same. Asc 27 Scorp 25 Sun 18 Aries 46 Moon 2 Leo 22 Merc 6 tau 31 Ven 17 Aries 18 Mars 13 Gemi 10 Jup r 25 Virg 10 Sat r 14 Sag 6 Ura r 2Leo 54 Nep r 1 Scorp 35 Plu r 28 Leo 09 Eros 14 tau 08 MC 17 Vir 46 Happy sharing! So we have an ascendant/descendant flip as well. In addition, your Mars is conjunct my north node at 20 Taurus. I forgot to add that! You also tie into my T-square at 2 Leo, 6 Taurus, 1 Scorp with your Venus/Saturn opposition (I'm looking again...it's a T-square too!). And your Jupiter conjuncts my IC. See, no wonder we write back and forth so much!

Hi Pam based on your astrological aspects I take you and I are basically the same age. My birthday being on April 17th 1957 your on April 7th or nearby.
My rising sign is Sagittarius and yes I was the quinnessential superjock who ran for miles, played tennis, football, martial arts. Typical sun venus 5th houser. Play music and just love little kids and a total sucker for romantic songs, movies, people.
My acendant is similar to yours and you probably also have a 7th house Mars as well...I wonder are you attracted to Aries or Scorpio males....the difference I suppose would be my tight trines to my sun venus conjunction to pluto. also the almost direct opposition to Neptune to my sun venus conjunction...this is pretty much an aspect of a possible alcohol and drug abuser. Ive had my moments but it mainly stems from unrequited love and the discontentment that this brings to someine like me. Although my heart and myself can be sometimes at odds with the mystical and other worldly side ....Like if someone tells me the stork brings the baby even as a child I would watch for the stork and when the baby arrived and there wasnt a stork involved...I knew it was a bunch of hooey....yet conversely I've also let unsrupulous types like Filter queen vacumn sales companies pull the wool over my eyes and worked for them for free because of false hopes and lies.
so it is interesting how someone the same age but born 10 days apart can be so different

Hey Ariesmale, I figured that out some time ago and meant to write to you. My birthday is April 8, 1957. Most of our planets are very close, if not conjunct. It's funny, how similar planets can be and how different the people can be. For instance, I too have Venus in Aries, but I am not swayed by a pretty face. I appreciate a pretty face (and a pretty body too), but I like big brains, humor, and political/humanitarian consciousness more. I've dated and fallen in love with men I've known were ugly, but of course after that Mars in Gemini kicks in I can't see the physical anymore. So at that point, the men are no longer ugly to me. Conversely, if the most gorgeous specimen of man flesh on the planet is generally jacked up between the ears and in the heart, I will no longer see his beauty. Form me, the outer reflects the inner. For years I had a major attraction to Scorpio men. I've had a couple of Aries boyfriends, and a couple of Leo boyfriends , but its mostly been Tauruses (even though I like them less as a group). I really like Geminis and Virgoes the best, but I haven't been with very many of them. I generally detest Sagittarians, but the man who has been my lover the longest (29 years off and on) is a Sag. Even though my general feeling about Sag's is that they are irresponsible (projection from my Saturn in Sag), he is and has been the most reliable by far. And as far as illusions go, I used to have a condo on Fantasy Island. A lot of that cleared up when I began to meditate. That was also when I learned to somewhat tell the difference between my thoughts and feelings and those of other people. I'm pretty psychic and not really knowing where one ends and someone else begins can be pretty disconcerting. Meditation helps. So do bubble baths! welcome to the Forum, Pam

Just wanted to pitch in and say what a great conversation Ariesmale and Pam!
Yes we've got some good connections Pam, but what a difference between Mars in Gemini and Mars in Taurus (where I've also got Draconic asteroid Adonis!). Having the Mercury in Gemini I've got to be able to talk to men, and make them laugh, but there has to be an initial physical attraction for Mars to kick in at all (probably because it's in the 12th!)
Taureans I would love for a while, as I love their sensuality, but may find a strong Taurean too "comfortable" to stay with for long. I'm not "Ariesmoon" for nothing! There's got to be sensuality yes, but also a fiery spark, a wicked streak and a hell of a sense of adventure (my Aries Moon has Draconic Uranus conjunct by degree, I've got Draconic Moon in Sagittarius, Venus in Leo and Draconic Venus at 0 Aries). Draconic Mars is Capricorn - so another Earth sign, but a Cardinal one and it's very at home there so it loves ambition and energy.

thanks for the reply Pam. I guess that Gemini Mars works differently for men. I enjoy a brainy girl yes I do..and spend my day in conversation, chatting up the mail man, the check out girl, and being a general chatterbox.
I am really turned off by women who suck at conservations...they can be pretty as can be..but if they cant hold a conversation they bore me to tears. Yes Virginia the grass is always greener on the other side of the hill. Especially if you are involved with a PILL....who cant converse worth a damn.
a pretty face helps as far as visual appeal or at least to catch my eye..but I generally lose interest if it just dont feel right.
Like a couple of weeks ago I had huge love thing for this young aries female..whos Juno and jupiter conjuncted my Venus Sun conjunction. Though I still idealize her and think she'd be my ultimate love partner. I'm like putting up a good fight against her....I've seen her like once this week..by choice....and of course seeing her again was a happy experience for me...its just that she is so goal oriented and ruthless in her pursuit of her goals Mars in Capriciorn) That when she told me that she had been really busy...there was no doubt that she was. I too have been busy with 5th house matters....sun in aries doubly exalted conjunct Venus in 5th house. I have to learn 30 very complicated but great songs in about 2 weeks.
I use my love and longing for her when I play music and sing....to really sing out and get into my songs.
Like for instance I was playing I dont wanna spoil the party.
Though tonight she's made me sad I still love her If I find her I'll be glad I still love her
though I had a drink or two and I dont care there's no fun in what I do if shes not there
of course she greeted me warmly and thought it was great that I was gonna play a 2 hours show on the oregon coast. She did give me words of encouragement....and a vote of confidence that I'll do just fine...the pre show jitters and stage fright be damned...full speed ahead.
Yes I do get the pre show jitters pacing back and forth before I get on stage...but usually they all melt when I get on stage and well I have a doubly exalted 5th house sun. So usually I do steal the show..which makes it hard on my band members. They actually tried one time to put me way on stage left...almost right at the edge of the stage and I still got most of the public acclaim and the kudos from the crowd after the show.
I also am a consummate work horse when it comes to putting on the show. I made sure all the instruments were perfectly in tune..that the amplifiers and drums, sound volume was balanced perfectly before the show. I made sure I learned the most complicated riffs. I play lead guitar what else? The musicianship didnt happen by accident..lots of hard work, practice goes into that ..well I have Saturn moon conjunct in a Sagittarius rising sign...and a 10th house Jupiter in Virgo..almost exactly conjunct my Midheaven...however a Saturn moon conjunction in my first house mad my early childhood life very troublesome and extreme poverty was my background. So poor I actually used my imagination and used dirtclods and rocks as my toy cars, and of course didnt have any music lessons....much owned a guitar. I had to teach myself and learn from other musician friends.
Enough about me. I'd like to hear more from aries moon....although the truth be told I have met women with moon conjunct my sun...they were someone I was comfortable in many levels....I just wasnt moved to marry them or become romantically involved with them...like I have with the Juno jupiter conjunct my Sun Venus woman. I even refer to her as "the wifey" even before I found out about these aspects...of course her and I arent officially together yet..just on speaking terms and she is a driven lady....a vesta conjunct Sapphos gives her more of a disposition to be involved heavily with her female friends...and she has no sisters...so she makes up for that with them...she says shes heterosexual...just doesnt have time for men til she gets her college teachers degree. At least not serious relationships...
That is kind of doesnt sit too well with me...so I have definitely made it a point to keep tight control over my feelings for her....and avoid her as best as I can....and even considering other women...cause its going much too slowly for my liking.

Hi AM,
I'm reading your posts and much of it is a reflection (exaggeratedly so, but a reflection nonetheless) of some of the feelings I've had/am having with my sweetie. I've been talking to myself about cultivating some patience and objectivity, and trying to take the advice I would give someone else. How long has it been since you met this woman? And why is her sexual orientation in question because she wants to hang out with her sister friends? She doesn't want a relationship right now, but I don't think you could handle a purely physical thing from her, especially if she was the one calling the shots. So why don't you get to know her? Take her, or possibly meet her, for coffee. Sit and get to know her a little bit, and do your best to not proposition her. Or do. Just don't get mad if she doesn't that type of relationship. She gets to have a say about what is going to happen too.
Ask yourself why your relationships have been so short. I too have a history of having short lived relationships. I generally can't abide anyone after a year or two. And I tend to run away when I can't have my way. Not a real mature reaction, especially when there's nothing really wrong, when I am just pissed off because I am not winning. I was flabbergasted when I first realized that was how I was reacting. Unfortunately, that's a typical Aries sentiment and typical Aries behavior. Fortunately, we have a choice as to whether or not we are going to be typical Aries people or not. I've actively chosen to not be a typical Aries person and it is hard, but I know that even if this particular relationship doesn't go in the direction that I would prefer, then I still will have gained from the experience. So, I've been doing alot of apologizing after I throw down the gauntlet and issue an ultimatum. And I'm learning to not issue the ultimatum in the first place.
It might help you to step out of your comfort zone a little and try to relate in a different way. You might get a different result.

those are words of wisdom Pam. Unfortunately I'm too emotional to just be friends with most women. Although I've had great friendships with women before. no expectations....they could say and relate to me in any manner except in a sexual manner. Cause I wasnt interested in them in that way.
As far as the women I was interested in...there is no way I could keep it platonic. Plus really feiry passionate relationships tend to burn themselves out given time. Not anyones fault its just that a certain level of intensity is difficult to maintain for extended periods of time. Much like driving your car 110 mph...it leads to alot of difficulties like speeding tickets, like a forced slow your butt down....and mechanical breakdowns....from wear and tear.
It would be nice to meet up with coffee....with my love interest. Its difficult and I sometimes wonder if its worth all the effort...just for a hello and goodbye...that love is...and life being quick like a blink of an eye.

Welcome gotgemini! I'm always pleased to see another Gemini show up. There's a lot of us here. I have Sun, Mercury, Juno, Ceres and the Vertex in Gemini, and a bunch of other asteroids: Karma, Pan, Anteros, Gaea and Child.
By the way.. You are awesome! I've been needing the code for the superscript degree symbol for ages and too lazy to go find it. And here you are with it!
28˚ versus 28o --- Your version is better!
