hi there. I'm new to this board, and I was just wandering if anyone had any insight into Chiron-Eros contacts in synastry? someone I recently met has his Chiron conjunct my Eros 2'04, and my Chiron is square his Eros 4'35, so its a double-mutual thing going on there. His Psyche is also opposite my Eros, which I have already read about on here. anyway, any insight would be greatly appreciated! thanks

Hi there, darkstar! My suggestion would be to type in "Chiron" and/or "Eros" in the search section of this website. Eros-Chiron has been discussed a number of times and it would be worth reading what everyone has said. Hope this helps!

Hello Darkstar, Welcome to the forum! There are a few threads from the past on Chiron in synastry with are brimming with Chiron info: Chiron/Saturn erosastrology.proboards26.com/index.cgi?board=syn&action=display&thread=1102810134Chiron/Neptune erosastrology.proboards26.com/index.cgi?board=asteroid&action=display&thread=1088582464And others which you can search out…or if anyone has a link, pop it up. There are MANY threads on Psyche/Eros in the synastry and asteroids board--check both. Here, though, is a section from my Eros Reports on Chiron in Synastry aspect to Eros: Chiron in Synastry Aspect to ErosLove bade me welcome, but my soul drew back. . .-- Herbert, George At first glance, Chiron seems similar to Saturn in that it can symbolizes a wounding, a sense of isolation and abandonment and deep suffering. Certainly Saturn and Chiron at times have these themes in common, however, when it comes to relationship, Chiron is quite different. Chiron didn’t eat his children, as did Saturn. Chiron was not castrated, maimed or otherwise banished by his offspring either. He adored his wife and his daughters and although they all suffered in various ways, it was not by each other’s hand. Both Saturn and Chiron have deep wounds, but Chiron’s pain does not seep into his intimate relationships. Chiron isn’t all about the wound. Chiron is about initiation. He is the divinity who prepares heroes to do the ‘impossible. He instills in us the ‘audacity to attempt’ and the impudence to challenge our limitations and succeed. When Eros and Chiron meet in the synastry chart, a deep sense of attraction can prevail. Sometimes a relationship is formed that, like for Chiron, becomes a haven against the harsher realities of the world. The prerequisite here is perceiving and accepting the injury—the challenge—and then tackling it with ‘super human’ intentions. Chiron is part horse, part god—part mortal and part immortal. He makes no effort to hide his rebuff from either wild or civilized domain and in spite of all his suffering he seeks out and flourishes in loving union. Saturn, on the other hand, proclaims himself the invincible king of the gods, lies to his wife and eats his children all while assuming everything is ‘fine’. Attending to Chiron’s wound is a completely different business than accepting Saturn’s. Chiron’s wound made him a better physician; Saturn’s got him locked away in Tartaros for a very long time. Eros in contact with Chiron can suggest erotic relationships that deepen the capacity for compassion and acceptance of flaws and limitations. Together the couple may find healing and release, even if only temporary, from the wounds of the past. Chiron can take the sometimes compulsive urges of Eros and imbibe them with a tenderness and mercy that was previously unattainable. In this case, the Eros/Chiron contacts can, with patients, be exceedingly rewarding. Levels of awareness are attempted and achieved that could rarely be done without the auspice of this god. The link with Chiron also suggests a very potent desire nature. Something in the bodies seem to recognize each other and often the result is an irresistible sexual urge. An acceptance of the body or a rush of compassion can melt the defensiveness most people have around their physical form. Eros/Chiron contacts can, in this case, allow us to experience the realm of the physical with a freedom perhaps never felt before. What can you say now, Darkstar, about how this might fit in with your own contact? Kim

Welcome Darkstar. First I want to say that Kim has the pulse of the Chiron Eros synastry down explicitly--on point.
My Chiron closely conjuncts D's Chiron/Eros/Venus. Yes...Venus too. The best way I can describe it is a cross between severe, insatiable erotic longing and the desire to protect him from any wrong, slight, pain or injury and to be protected by him. I want to be in a cave alone with him and I don't want anyone peeking in.
If he relays any story of getting hurt or slighted, I feel this intense pain behind my heart. It is undescribable and it is maddeningly and distractingly inexplicable. Simultaneously, if he inadvertently touches me, it feels as though my skin is on fire. Once I dropped my purse and he kneeled down to help me pick up my books, and only incidentally our hands brushed, and it absolutely drove me insane for the entire day (that sexual urge thing...). I feel completely and utterly protected by him; that he will never fail to call me or get in contact with me if I send an SOS. What he feels I cannot say.

thank you so much everyone for your comments. I did try browsing the site for Chiron-Eros before but couldn't come up with anything pertaining specifically to that aspect, so I figured I'd just ask. but anyway thanks again! will look into this.
