The forum, operating since 2001, had grown so large it is now invitation only. You may join if you email me first and state you have read the points below:
Consider before contributing:
Run a search to see if your topic already has a discussion going.
Keep to the topic category. Multiple topics are tricky so divide and conquer! If it is about asteroids, post in the asteroid section. If it is about asteroids in return charts, post in the Return forum. If you have more than one question or point of interest, post a question in EACH category.
Please keep questions to ONE POINT at a time. Facing a myriad of questions about one's chart, or vague questions like, 'what can you tell me about this . . . (followed by a list of 20 aspects) is just going to put people off. I certainly won't be able to answer it! This is a learning community. The goal is to engage in dialog, not pontificate.
Advertisements and posts deemed out of place will be deleted.
LANGUAGE: If you feel emphatic, swear all you like.
The only language unwelcome on this forum is value judgments. Astrology is a sacred art whose essence is often distorted into our everyday 'comfortable' way of speaking. Doing this limits understanding and the ability to interpret the symbol system. The cosmos doesn't 'think' in terms of 'good' aspects, 'bad' aspects, 'yucky' synastry' or 'treacherous' transits or ‘glorious’ progressions. It describes energy, just as it is. We all use these adjective without thinking.
On this forum, I am asking everyone to think. Those uncomfortable with examining the value structure of their communication and those perpetuating cultural biases, again, there are plenty of other forums out there who do not care. Please go there!
All aspects of astrology are open to exploration and discussion; these guidelines are not. If this suits you, please join in.
See you in the rooms!
Blessings, Kim
