I wondered a few days ago what Mars conjunct my Venus/North node conjunction would bring. And it's clear - crystal clear - it's a strong sense of purpose about where I'm going career-wise, and why. A wonderful feeling of clarity about what I'm doing being "right" for me. And about loving it, and wanting more of it. When Mars hits the North Node, it also opposes my Saturn/South Node conjunction, which also made me wonder ... reading the traditional horror stories about Mars opposite Saturn! All I'm sensing so far is a strong awareness that I'm using all the skills of my Saturn/SN - all that learned Aquarius behaviour - to move in exactly the right direction. I am a double Mars ruled person, with sun in Aries and asc in Scorpio so the breaks for me are a good thing. I'm feeling that as your Mars conjuncts Venus and the North node, something that has been frozen with Saturn on your South Node will get jogged free. Don't ask for details, I don't have any. That's just what came to me so I am going with it. Let us know how it all works out. The other part is conjunct Jupiter/Chiron. I notice these things because we were born only 30 days apart! Our houses are flipped, so I have the opposite transit with Mars moving through my 10th. I've been really excited about this transit and looking forward to the next week. The energy feels great already! I didn't even think to worry about a negative side. After all, we get this transit all the time. Mars was last at this point in May 2008. I don't remember anything bad about that time or any of the other times it passed through Leo. For me, Mars will conjunct my NNode/Part of Fortune (and yes, the Saturn/SNode opposition) and then continue on to conjunct Uranus/sextile the Asc/trine the Desc conjunct Mars in the 7th. WOWSA! So much good energy! As for something getting jogged free - we'll wait and see, I'll post it when it happens!
