I don't have my experience in this area. However, I have heard that Jupiter is often active at the time of death and signifies the release from suffering. I think the other outer planets could possibly shed light on the cause of death. Your findings seem to agree with this.
Re: Does Anyone Here Have Pluto on the IC or MC??? « Result #2 Yesterday at 8:20pm »
Ana,
the dark abyss of Pluto always pushing for transpersonal evolution via suffering and transcendence... painful isnt it?
My Ascendant in Leo, makes my 12th house sun my chart ruler - and- it is unaspected! My Pluto ON the IC in the 4th plus South Node in Pluto domain of the 8th seems to almost Eclipse my Sun-Leo Rising....its all very complicated....
Le Astrologie de la Morte « Result #3 Yesterday at 8:15pm »
I am studying certain charts to ascertain what key aspects play a significant role on the day of a persons death. I am currently looking at one natal chart and comparing it to his Solar Return for the year he died and also the transits for the day of death.
It seems a little morbid, but I really would like to see if I can gleam a little insight via astrology. Does anyone have anything they can share pertaining to planetary alignments (patterns) which tend to happen on such difficult dates?
For example; the SR chart of this person I am studying had Saturn in Aquarius 8th opposing his Sun+Mercury 2nd, also Saturn 8th was (part of the T-square) opposing Sun+Merc -and- they both Sun-Merc and Saturn were squaring Pluto Scorpio 4th.
Transit wise, I found it strange that T Jupiter was less than 1 degree away and Venus was less than 3 degrees away from being exactly conjunct to his natal Jupiter and natal Venus both in the 12th house.
His chart ruler was Pluto, natally it is found in the 11th house (he died at a social gathering). His SR Pluto was also the apex of this T-square.
He died of a drug overdose, natally he had Neptune in the 1st and I know a few people who have this aspect and are addicted to some substance (one friend is a chronic potsmoker and very spiritual and the other is a non-spiritual self-proclaimed agnostic alchoholic).
There are already a lot of indicators here but if anyone can share their stories and finds (assuming anyone has any)... I'd appreciate it!

Boy, ariesmale, you sure have an interesting chart. You mentioned some difficulties with women over the years, and I wasn't seeing the type of problems you have related. When I did your chart in heliocentric, then it all shows up. Midpoints: You have a very nice Grand Trine in geocentric between the Jupiter/Chiron midpoint, Pallas, and Uranus. Grand trines are very special, so you should find success and some fame at being an analyst, computer programmer or astrologer, something that uses your great ability to analyze and do logical thinking. This affects relationships in that you will tend to over-analyze them, creating problems unless this analysis energy is used elsewhere. Girls don't always like that. So I guess the point for this forum is that some midpoints are as potent as planets in aspect. Your Saturn conj Moon is problematic, as its the corner of a "magical triangle" as some call it, quincunx (inconjunct) to the Saturn/Chiron midpoint and square to Vesta. This creates some impatience with women who aren't as sexual as you (you have 6 very strong sexual aspects) and it can cause some stress. Venus opposition Neptune - this can be a lot of emotionally draining relationships, love affairs come and go suddenly. Uranus square Neptune - not comfortable committing to a relationship
in Heliocentric: Earth opposite Venus - some discomfort with getting too close, tend to attract women who can't commit or remain distant. Again, the Venus opposition to Neptune. Mercury square Saturn - Some women may find you hard to talk to, they could feel uncomfortable being open with you, or that you reveal too much of yourself too soon. The important thing is that if you meet someone at the "right time" your combined chart and composite chart will override these negatives and bring a satisfying relationship. You have so many really great configurations in your chart that it should be no problem. Your Saturn and Saturn/xxx midpoints in aspect will cause you to meet the "right one" later in life than most, and your relationship with a much younger woman is typical of the Saturn conj Moon. Saturn delays and restricts of course. Also, your Saturn/Jupiter mp conj Neptune makes you over serious about love affairs, they affect you very deeply. That aspect also lets you capitalize (make money from) your creativity. Cheers.

Perhaps he was a selkie - have you read the legend? Seals who become human by shedding their skin, and can have human relationships, but they have to eventually return to the sea.

In the 90s I met a man at a folk club - after a rather long man drought- and we had a relationship for a few weeks I had a dream shortly after I met him of being gently pulled into the sea by a seal and dancing and swirling through the waves under his guidance with a great sense of freedom [ The man was shortish and bearded and not unseallike............an English folkie.......] It did not last cos his ex reappeared contrite and wanting back But the dream was one of the best I have ever remembered and you must have remembered it too Areismoon!!!!! I guess it is an archetypical dream/myth like falling or being chased.

HI Kim and thanks! I found this piece I wrote "off the cuff" a few months ago when looking at my Draconic Chart - specifically Venus at 0.56 Aries (1 Aries in the Sabian Symbols series). The symbol is "A Woman is Arising out of the sea, a seal is embracing her".
I'm amazed with what comes out when you go deeper into these symbols, and look more closely at Draconic placements. This is the Venus that lurks underneath, the silk lining under the coat!
I wrote:
A woman is in water - which is feminine, fluid, salty, flowing, uncontrollable. Water is emotion - it can be a calm sea, or a stormy sea, is this a placid woman who knows her depths or someone out of her depth? Is she fathomable, or is she so deep no-one can find her?
The woman is in all probability naked, loving the water contact, feeling it run in rivulets down her skin and through her hair. Being in warm salty water reminds us of being in the womb, in amniotic fluid. The most natural state for the human body, where rational thought can't take over. We need to go with the flow, with our instincts.
The woman is a mammal, like the seal - warm blooded, able to feed and nurture her young. What difference is there between the woman and the seal? Is the seal there to teach her how to be natural and relaxed about her nakedness, her animality, her mammalian nature? The seal is in its element in water - it follows nature's rhythms, its tides, its feeding patterns, it goes where its instincts or the tides take it. Is it there to teach the woman how to be at ease in her own skin?
This idea of being "embraced" by the seal is indicative of having a healthy relationship with the natural world and with own animal drives and natures. We are so conditioned to ignore them, to suppress them to keep others happy. Animals feed, reproduce according to instinct - they fight to protect their young, they eat when they're hungry and will fight for survival.
